Hi, this is Robin Ford, and I'm here at the True Fire studios and working on a new course for
Release sometime later on this year
It's going to be focusing on my favorite subject, and this is something I've been wanting to do for quite some time now and
[N] We're going to be talking about chords
It's so important to know chords, and I meet so many people who really do not seem to pay a lot of attention to that
I thought this is the perfect opportunity and
So I'm talking about chords
Harmonized major scale where all the triads come from
We'll discuss chord inversions.
You know having the fifth in the root
Different places third in the root changes in chords like that
all the basic inversions of major and minor triads
and
Working with thirds working with sixths how to use them there'll be demonstrations of all these contexts of working with
chords on basically every level and
Pretty much.
I'm going to show you everything I do in this particular course where it comes to chords
So keep your eyes out for that should be coming out sometime this year
And I also want to let you know about my traveling dojo guitar camp
Which is going to be happening August?
fourth through the eighth
In the Catskill Mountains, and I'll be joined there by fellow true fire instructor, Sonny Landris great guitarist
I've admired him for many years and really looking forward to working with him
also, my rhythm section will join us Brian Allen bassist and Wes little is the drummer and
Participants will be able to study and play with them in a rhythm section class.
They're going to be doing
plus Rick Wheeler
Is going to be giving the jazz master class so those of you are particularly interested in
Jazz chord voicings things like that
He's going to be talking about as well as
Recording techniques guitar setup.
He's going to be teaching people how to do that and every night.
We're going to have
Jam sessions and all of the participants
At the camp we'll have an opportunity to sit in and play with us
So really looking forward to it.
Hope to see you there
you can go to dojo guitar camp calm and
Find out all the information you need to know so please come join us
