Hello Mike.
[D] Hello.
Welcome to Paris.
[A] Well, thank you very much.
Well, we're here for a kind of mad project called the Rock Legends
Yes, we'd like to start the interview with a very simple question.
How [N] did you get into music?
I started to play guitar first
Then we obviously we started a band and then we needed a singer eventually
We were looking for a singer and then I thought you know, I can maybe sing, you know
So then I tried it out and I was actually looking for someone that was sort of like me
You know that I can sort of like imitate or something
Yeah, and eventually I saw the film of Val Kilmer of the doors and that was it for me
I thought you know, I'm gonna try this and
It works.
I'm lucky to have the voice pretty close and maybe the looks and sometimes it's pretty scary
Actually, you know because because people see you as Jim, you know, but it's also good, you know, because people
Think they experience the doors.
So that's why I do it.
You know, the musicians behind you.
Yes
Exceptional.
I mean you start together.
I'm with the band for two years now
So I started on YouTube after a while I get like more fans
and then one of those fans was in contact with the doors alive and
That's how I came in the band, but the band
Exists for 10 years, I think
Really?
Did you make one of the doors members?
No, but but it is maybe
We're playing in the roundhouse in September this year
Yeah, and so maybe I'm gonna play with Robbie Krieger the guitar player of the doors
No way, so yeah, Jim Morrison text are like poetry
Do you feel comfortable with this with this kind of acting yeah, I kind of like that sort of darkness
You know because I had a little bit darkness in my life, you know, so I can like
Put my feelings in there, you know
And then when I sing and it sounds like Jim then it's like I'm him for a second, you know
Is it confusing sometime sometimes it can be confusing.
Yeah, but I think you gotta stay close to yourself, you know
Remember who you are, you know, what was your most exciting connection with an audience?
It was a Leamington spa
Normally, I I say like a Jim quote like, you know, who's gonna come up here and love me
Just one guy came up stage and give me a hug
But then after that the whole crowd came up stage to hug us all, you know to give us a hug
And that was so special to me, you know, it was like they really really loved it
Could you tell us a few words about what will be the show?
We are just bringing the doors and I think we try to give the best we have, you know
I think that's the best you can do nice to end this little conversation together
Could you bring us a little a cappella from a cappella Morrison?
People are strange when you're a stranger
Faces look ugly when you're alone
Women seem wicked when you're unwanted
Streets are uneven when you're down.
[D#] Thank you.
Thank [A] you.
Thank you very [G] much.
Thank you very much
