You know, you hear it at the [C] bass line.

[E] And _ [N] all it's really doing right there is just a _ C, B, A. _ _ _
And you can rock it back and forth with that E if you want to. _

So you're going to end with the D, E.

_ And that's all that is on that little groove. _
Somebody did the fool, man, and played this in the church groove.
It was so funky.

_ So however you want to groove with that.
So when you're on that [G] C, _ let's take an E minor chord.
_ _ Take that inversion. _ _
That's a B, D, _ [Em] E, _ G.
_ [G] _ _ _ _ _
_ [Bm] _ And when you go to B, let's take a regular D major.
D, G flat, A. _
And then you're going to end on A [Em] minor.
_ Which is an A minor 7. _ _ _ _ _
And that's a G, [Am] B, C, [Em] E.
_ So if I do that slow. _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [E] _
_ _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

[F] _ Now if you don't want to do that E [Em] minor chord, you can always use the regular one.
_ _ _ That's more, you know, easier.
E, A, I'm sorry, E, G, B, D.
Because if you use that one, then you just, [Bm] _ _ [Em] _ _ _ _ or whatever [A] chords you like to use.
So the [N] basic chords you're using in there is the E minor.
_ _ I'm using the E minor, the D natural, and the A minor 7.
So you know there's so many ways to hit different chords.
So that's just the way I do it.
Because sometimes I don't like jumping out on the keyboard.
But sometimes I might do just to have fun.
