Hello [G] everybody, welcome back to another lesson.
This time I have the ultimate dancefloor filler for you, When I Found Ye by Jerry Reid.
Although Jerry Reid was a great, fantastic guitar player, he wasn't playing lead guitar
on this one.
It was Grady Martin once again.
So let's start the whole thing off with the intro.
[F#m] [E] [C#m]
[B]
[D#] [Dm]
It starts here on fret number 4 on the G [B] string.
And you want to pick [G] the B string as well, [D#] yeah, [G] both strings.
Do a slide to [C#m] 6, then it's 5 on [C#] the B string, [F#] 7, [Em] and then you pick the B and the E string,
B on 5 on [G] the open E [Em] string.
[F#]
[Em] You repeat [F#m] it.
Then [G] [C#] comes this little run,
[D#] [C] [B]
that is [C#m] 6, 5, 6 [C] [C#] on the G string, [D#] [G] 4, 5, 7 on the B string,

[Dm] [Gm] and then it's 4, 5, 6, 7 on the high E string.
[C#] [E] [A#]
[B] [N] Then it's, you grab, it's like [A] an A, you [Dm] know, they used to grab the A like this, A [G] major,
so it's two frets further up the [B] neck, it's a B, slide it back and forth, and that's the whole intro.
One more time.
