[G] It's here once again for John Campbell, John, the first [N] set tonight.
I'm [F] Jason, he's done this once again, but he won a four classic [A] rock and we continue now with the second act of the [F#] night.
One of the [G] reasons why this is [F#m] known as the East Coast Music [A] Awards for the first year,
because there are some Newfoundlanders [E] performing tonight.
Ron Hines is a Newfoundland singer [B]-songwriter best known for [Em] penning the Canadian [A] folk classic Sunny Stream.
[B] A founding member of the legendary [A] Wonderful Grand Band, Ron has also acted in several theatre productions,
most notably [F#] Hank Williams' The Show He Never Gave.
[Bm] [D] In 1990, Ron released two singles, [C#] Roy Orbison Came On and Sunny's Dream.
Ron continues to, uh, Roy [E] Hayes, that's it.
[F#] Ron continues to write and perform [E] traditional and country-influenced original melodies
[A] with a strong lyrical [D#] content addressing the great [A] realism of life [F#] and human [A] relationships.
And he writes [N] damn good biocopy!
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome please, Ron Hines!

[A] [F#m] [A]
[E] [C#m]
[E] [C#] Another [B] circumstantial evidence, that's a story in [E] my mind.
Like a part of something [A]
[F#m] good, [A] [F#] when I hit the [E] ground I'm standing.
So I try to [B] keep my head in, [F#] and I pray for a better [B] ending, yes I do.
Like a [A] scarecrow in the [F#] park ward, [A] with that [F#] same sad [E] suit and false arm.
And a woman's [B] hood, her eyes on, that's a story in my mind.
[E] When I'm driving [B] down the road, [F#] boys, [B] got a thousand [E] miles to go, boys.
And a fever [B] burning in my head, [F#]
and a [B] red-hot blood [A] on the road [B] straight ahead.
Like a part of [A] something good, when [B] I hit the ground I'm standing.
[E] So [C#] I try to keep [B] my head in, and I pray for a [E] better ending, yes I do.
Like a [A] scarecrow in the park ward, with that same [E] sad suit [B] and false [Em] arm.
And a woman's [B] hood, her eyes on, that's a story in [E] my mind.
When I'm driving [B] down the road, boys, [F#] [B] got a thousand [A] miles to go, [E] boys.
And a fever [B] burning in my head, [F#] and a red [B]-hot blood [A] on the road [E] straight ahead.
[B] This town ain't no [A] place to cash in, no.
They're asking [E] me that [C#] question,
[E] somehow [C#] it's got that [B] fake suggestion.
Of a town my [E] heart had lost in one time, though I haven't [A] cried that pain since.
I live [E] report its [C#] [Em] absence, another [B] circumscriptial elegance.
That's a story in my mind.
[Em]
Though I haven't felt [B] that pain since, [F#] [B] that's a story in [A] my mind.
That's a [B] story in my mind.
That's a story in [A] my mind.
[F#] That's a story in [E] my [C#m] mind.
That's a story in [A] my mind.
That's [E] a story in my [C#] mind.

That's a story [A] in my [F#m] mind.
