Runrig have now got theirs too.
The group have been looking for a lead singer to replace Donnie Munro, who quit for a career in politics.
Now, after a year-long hunt, they've recruited 36-year-old country singer Bruce Guthro from Cape Breton in Canada.
Helen Tockel reports.
After more than a year trawling through demo tapes and enduring endless auditions and interviews, the Runrig boys had all but given up hope.
Despite taking out an exhaustive series of adverts in the local and national press, and a bid to find the ideal frontman, they eventually discovered him a bit further afield.

[Bm] [A] Enter [E] Canadian vocalist [D] Bruce Guthro to save the day.
Although to say he was [E] an accidental [F#] hero is no exaggeration, it was their manager's son who stumbled [D] across him on holiday.
Well, Gordon came back from Canada with this video of some Celtic music that he'd heard when he was in Canada, and thought I should listen to it.
And the minute that I saw Bruce and heard his voice, I thought, well, that is the man.
But of course, that was only the start of it.
I mean, there was all the problems of, you know, thinking, well, can this work?
Will he like working with Runrig?
Is he interested in Runrig's music?
Well, he loves Runrig's music, which is the main thing.
We love his voice, and we think there's a real chemistry there, and hopefully it should be really, really good.
The [Am] 36-year-old from the staunchly Celtic town of Cape [Em] Breton in Nova Scotia is already something of [D] an honorary Scot, but Bruce's husky [E] French-Canadian tones are sure to add a fresh [G] dimension to the Gaelic [B] rocker's future sounds.
