I just couldn't go visit the grave.

You know, he'd been by my side 24 hours a day [B] didn't want to believe it
So I couldn't go and my seven-year-old said mom we need to go [Bb] see daddy
We were in Boone and her great-grandmother had passed away.
So we were in Boone
She said we need to go see daddy.
And I said, I don't want to go see daddy
I said, let's just go home.
I said we can watch videos or something
I said, I don't I don't want to go up there and she made me go
_ So she's the seven-year-old like her father like the funeral director dry sense of humor
So and very real our family's [Gb] very much realist
We deal with what's here and in the present [B] and we're very much realist
So I was sitting there beside her father's grave for the first time
Since we had buried him and just a wreck.
I mean just
Everything makeup.
There's no makeup anywhere.
My hair just forget it.
So I'm sitting there and she looks at me and she goes mom

Daddy's died.
This is a part of life.
This is what happens
one day mama's gonna die [N] and you're gonna cry and
Then you're gonna die and me and Josie are gonna cry and then we're gonna die and somebody else will cry
That's what it is.
You got to get yourself together

_ And so my mom picked me up off the ground

And I was like, you know, she's right.
She's right.
I [Bb] need to pull it together for them
But then my three-year-old she doesn't understand
Everything that's happened.
She knows her daddy isn't here, but she doesn't get you know that the body's in the ground
But he's with Jesus and you know, she doesn't comprehend all that so I don't ask her too much about it
But this morning before I left my house in Knoxville
I saw her out on the porch [B] and she goes out on the porch every morning with her
Tinkerbell beanbag and she sits in her beanbag with her bowl of cereal between her legs and just watches the cars go by that's her
Area three years old.
So she's sitting out there and she [Bb] finishes her cereal and I
Look over at her I was still inside the house.
I looked out at her and she's looking up the sky and she said daddy
_ [B] Just hollering daddy
[Bb] [Bb] And I didn't say anything because I wanted to see you know what she was doing
She goes, would you please fall out of heaven and let me see you again?
Mmm
So she gets to my heart my three-year-old
She just doesn't get it and she misses her daddy and you know what?
I don't get it.
I don't
I mean, I'm just gonna be honest.
I don't get it. _
I know there's a plan.
I don't know what it is
I'm not gonna sit up here and tell you that every day is great right because it's not no it is there are tough days and _
_ There are mornings that [B] I don't want to get up out of bed
[Eb] And then [Bb] there are days when I do get up and my hair isn't combed
I always try to brush my teeth Tony liked it when I brush my teeth
So I always try to get that done
But you know some days I sit on the couch and watch TV and then some days I sit on the TV and watch the [Gb] couch _ _
There are good and bad [B] days and I think that's okay, I think God wants that from us and
[Bb] _ So we're [A] getting there, you know, yeah
During [F] this time it
You know when my mother [E] passed away a few years ago and [E] and I was telling you
you know, I can't take her [D] number out of my phone [F] because and this number doesn't even work anymore, [E] but there [Bb] are _
In in this time, we don't [F] know what the end of the story is, but that's where trust
Comes into it, [Gb] you know God, I don't know [G] but I trust you
I trust you and I [Ab] don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow, but I trust you.
[A] You know, I don't know
[N] But it seemed like so many times we like to if we do this
Then the otter do this and then this will happen
But but I think you know if one thing Paul and the Apollo taught it is that we just trust him
You know, I don't feel like getting up this morning God
and I'm still in in I'm still in the thick of it and I don't know what the end of the story is gonna be and
_ But I pray for my [C] children, you know, I pray for my [Gb] babies
But I trust you
there there is
[N] There is people watching that there's looking the same thing God, I don't [Bb] know why I don't know why I mean I
[B] quoted, you know your promises, [N] but this happened and and that happened, but
_ _ Can I pray for you Oh and pray for the people out there because I
Know you and I know your story and I love Tony and I and I loved you
[C] But I want to pray for [A] you and I want to pray for the people out there Lord [D] Jesus

God we [F] trust you [Bb] we don't understand so [Eb] many times _

Risk just in the sense that we know you're in control
[Bb] And then when we lose somebody it hurts so bad
And we wake up in the night and we cry
And we look at our children [Ab] and we cry and we say God why? _
[Eb] _ _ [Bb] But Lord in the middle of all [Eb] of this
I'm so glad
That you see the end
You see what's ahead?
[Ab] You know the end of [Bb] the story
And that God one day we're all going [Eb] to be around the throne
_ And we're gonna be talking about how Jesus brought us through
How he brought us through and we all are gonna have our story _
[Ab] But God comfort Taranda
[Eb] Well, [Fm] she is right in the middle of this thing [Bb] and she
Lays [Eb] away at night and some days she's so depressed that she doesn't want to get out of bed
[Ab] Walk with her now Jesus
Put your arms around her
_ [Eb] And carry her [Bb] through this thing
God [Cm] I thank you for her life.
I thank you for her ministry, and I'm so
Just impressed with her that she has gone [Bb] all over the country and and and and sharing her story about there
We have a God we can trust
Even [Eb] though we can't see we can't feel we can't touch
_ _ [Ab] But we trust you [Bb] God
Comfort my sister Lord
[E] Put your arms about her and [Bb] all those people watching out [Eb] on
Television in the hospitals and jails and at homes and they feel so all [Bb] alone

[F] That you are a God who [Eb] cares and you stand with your children and you hold your [Abm] children when we cry
[Eb] And we can trust you Jesus

And in the darkest night when I'm walking by faith
If I think of that God himself

Because [B] he loves you God is singing [Bb] over me and I know he's [N] gonna carry me.
