Jam Along & Learn...
Hi, my name is Sabina.
and I want to sing my song Dagestan for you
share a little story about how it was created.
So I wrote this song when I was 18, and I was studying at the university at the time.
sing something at the festival of different nationalities in Russia, and
to write my own song.
It wasn't something I had been thinking about, or I never dreamt about writing a song about Dagestan.
I just felt really homesick.

Hi, my name is Sabina.
I'm a singer-songwriter, and I want to sing my song Dagestan for you
and also share a little story about how it was created. _
So I wrote this song when I was 18, and I was studying at the university at the time.
They asked me to sing something at the festival of different nationalities in Russia, and
I decided to write my own song. _ _ _
It wasn't something I had been thinking about, or I never dreamt about writing a song about Dagestan.
I just felt really homesick.
I had very big emotions and feelings towards Dagestan.
It was my favorite place to be,
to go at the school break and see my grandparents and hang out with my friends.
You know, just the best memories I have still are from the time I spent in Dagestan.
So it was really easy for me to put all of this into the song.
After the performance, I could see that a lot of Dagestani people connect to the song, and it started gaining popularity. _ _

And to my surprise, I am watching and hearing my song playing as his walkout song.
It was an amazing moment, hard to describe.
Still, I [A#] feel very proud that this song
_ was and still is a part of his history, and people all over the world write to me, you know, [F#] how they are
inspired by Habib, and because of this song and his success, they want to come and visit Dagestan one day.
So of course, that makes me feel very good.
And now,
let's just go ahead and sing the song.
