[N] [Gb] Hi, this is Stephanie Jackson.
I want to just show [Eb] you the chords for my arrangement of
Sabor a mi.
[A] [D] The lesson is [A] coming forth at some point.
It's just kind of complicated
and someone specifically asked for the chords and I thought what a great way to learn this
and just [Bb] give it out.
It's free [E] and so you can see I'm just [F] completely comfortable.
My
dog [Eb] is sitting there in front of me [Bbm] watching me [D] and it's storming outside.
So, I do this
in the key of D with drop D.
Keys are important [A] to me.
So, if it's in the [Em] key you know that
your [Eb] basic structure and you may not know this but your basic 1, 4, 5 would be [Db] D, G
and A.
[D] Okay?
[Eb] And if you didn't know that you can just go, oh yeah I [D] knew that.
I can't
hear you anyway.
So, I bet you knew it.
[Gb] D, G [A] and A.
Now, of course I'm putting a [B] little
different [D] spin on it [G] but that's where you should be thinking, okay?
[A] Also, I do a lot
of walk [Gbm] downs.
[Em] [B]
See, [Bb] like that or walk up.
[B] [Bb] I'm going to leave those out for now.
I'm
just going to show you [Db] the structure [Eb] of that song and try to make this short and sweet.
And I'm kind [D] of laughing because I've tried this several [A] times and it's, yeah I [Eb] keep just
[Dbm] saying something dumb.
So, [A] this time I'm not going to.
[Ab] [A] Starting in D [D] major 9.
[A]
This is [D] [A]
the
A6 flat 2.
Or you can call it A6 flat 9.
[Ebm] They're the same thing.
And I just use this
finger to go back and forth in the bass but we're not going to do that, right?
[A] And then
we [Ebm] stop [A] there.
[Em] That's an E minor 7 [A] and there's that funky little A thing [D] again.
D major [A] 9.
[Gb] F sharp minor and I'm not going to do the walk [Em] down.
E minor 7.
[A] A funky thingy.
[D] Oops,
I wasn't going to show you that.
And here's the B7.
[Em]
Kind of the same.
E minor 7.
[A] A6 flat
9.
[D] Major 7 and major [Gbm] 9.
F sharp minor [Em] and then E minor 7.
[A] A thingamajig [D] and D.
E [A] minor
A [D] D.
Okay, next section.
[Gb] No Pretendo Ser Tu Dueño.
I think is [E] the first line of it.
[Am] [A] We're
going to go from an A minor to an E [Db] augmented.
And the way I'm doing that is [E] I'm using my
first finger on the first fret and I'm just barring, I don't [D] need to be barring the fourth.
You just [Eb] need to bar [D] technically, you need to bar 1, 2, and 3 with your first finger.
And [Eb] then [E] you've got this finger, your third finger on the fourth string second fret and
your other finger, your middle finger on the lowest string second fret because we've done
drop D so that's an E augmented.
Okay.
[Am] [E]
A [Am] minor 7.
And [Ebm] then this cool thing [D] is a D augmented.
And it's the same thing I [Gb] was doing here [E] if you think about it.
I'm moving this [Bb] up two
frets and I've got an open D.
So it looks the same, it's just in a different position.
[Am] [E] [Am] [Bb] [Ab] Yeah, you don't want to hit the G, sorry.
[Bb] Or [D] you don't want to hit this top string [Eb] at
all.
I'm sorry, the G is [Db] what the note is if you're [E] barring it.
[D] I didn't think about
that.
Oh, you could do this.
See, I don't [Ebm] usually play the full chord, [E] especially here
because I've got [Db] the melody usually [D] on the top, sometimes in the middle.
But actually
yeah, there I'm going to go.
But [Bb] anyway, it's [D] a D augmented, okay.
So you've got [Ebm] technically
if you wanted to do the full chord.
[G] [Em]
Okay, sorry, I'm [G] thinking of the chord and the vocal
and I don't want to do that.
D, A minor 7, G.
And that's a G over B, meaning the B is
in the bass.
[E]
And there's an E7.
[A]
[Bb] [A] So that was an A, [Bb] B flat and [N] A.
[G] Let's pick up on, oh,
did I?
Yeah, we don't need the whole chord.
I'm used to playing the melody up here.
So
that really you could just play a G chord.
A minor 7 and then a G [B] over B.
Again, the
over just means the B is the note in the bass.
[G]
D, G [E] and then E7.
And the A, B flat,
A.
[A] [Bb]
[E] Back to where we were [A] at the beginning.
It's like you repeat the first line of the
beginning.
[Gbm] Oops, told you I wasn't going to walk up.
It's kind of hard because I'm feeling
it.
F sharp [Em] minor 7 or F sharp minor and then E minor 7, [A] E, A.
[D] [A] Okay, so that's the whole
thing.
And that's it.
So, and I, you know, [D] again, you [Eb] don't have to do that if you want
to just [D] keep it real basic.
[A] [D] [B] Okay, hope that's helpful.
Key [A] of D.
So we've got [Bb] a D [A] major
9.
We have an A6 flat 9 or flat 2.
[Em] We've got an E minor 7 and we have [Gb] a F sharp minor and
[B] we have a B7 in there too.
And [G] we have a G and [E] we have an E7.
I'm looking at my chords
that I want to [C] chart this out.
We have a [Dbm] D augmented and an E augmented.
[E]
There's your
E augmented [D] and there's your D augmented.
It's just so awesome sounding.
[Eb] Okay, hope
that helps.
Oh, G over B.
Don't forget that one.
Okay, enjoy and [E] thanks.
Hey, check out
[C] my website.
I've had it updated so that it's not complicated like it was on the old website

F sharp [Em] minor 7 or F sharp minor and then E minor 7, [A] _ E, A.
[D] _ _ _ [A] _ _ Okay, so that's the whole
thing.
And that's it.
So, and I, you know, [D] again, you [Eb] don't have to do that if you want
to just [D] keep it real basic.
_ [A] _ [D] _ [B] Okay, hope that's helpful.
[E] _
_ There's your
E augmented [D] and there's your D augmented. _
It's just so awesome sounding.
_ _ [Eb] Okay, hope
that helps.
Oh, G over B.
Don't forget that one.
Okay, enjoy and [E] thanks.
Hey, check out
[C] my website.
I've had it updated so that it's not complicated like it was on the old website
[Ab] to buy a lesson.
You can just download it and it comes, all my lessons are going to
come with [D] the tab and notation.
Okay, so hope
