[N] I guess it was about five years ago now [Eb] that we lost our mom, you and I, and our sisters.
[Dm] You know, it was really an [C] incredible thing.
It was just about two days after she had passed away.
[Eb] I was up in an airplane and my little girl, who was five years old [Eb] at the time, and she
looks up at me and she says, Mom, did you just see [F] Nana in the sky?
And of course I'm [D] out there looking out the airplane [Eb] window, and I said, No, Sophie, I
don't see [N] her.
And she says, But she was just right there.
And I said, Well, what was she doing?
She says, Well, she was an angel, and she was turning into a star.
And I thought that was the most incredible thing.
I'd never heard anything like that before.
And so my mind's wondering how she came [B] up with it.
Later on I [F] asked her, I said, Sophia, can you tell me about that dream you [Bb] had again?
[Eb] And she says, Mom, it wasn't a dream.
And you know, the way she said it, I actually really, I started [C] right then and there to believe her.
What an amazing belief to have, that those are souls shining [Ab] down on us.
And I loved [A] it so much, I hang on to it.
Not just [G] that, but the idea of going to see her again.
[Eb] I've written an awful lot of songs about it, but I'd like to [Bb] play a couple of them right now.
Over [N] here.
[C] This is actually a [F] very new one here.
Well, I don't even have a title.
[C]
She said, [G] stay [Am] in tune with [F]
me.
Listen [C] close, between the words you will [F] see.
[C] I'm in the wind and the rainbows, [Am] in the moonlight and the stars, in [G] the garden where the seeds grow.
I am [F] everywhere you are when I [C] stop breathing and my heart [Am] stops beating.
[G] [F] I'm waiting for you.
Will you carry me across so my soul is never lost?
Will you meet me by the shore when it's my [Am] time to go?
[F]
To be [C] the wind and the rainbows, [Am] in the moonlight and the stars, in [G] the garden where the seeds grow.
[Em] I will [F] be everywhere you are when I [C] stop breathing and my heart [Am] stops beating.
[G] I will be [F] with you.
She [C] said, [G]
[Em] stay in [Am] tune with [F] me.
