Ah, what a classic saxophone solo.
And if you've seen the Sexy Sax Man on YouTube, then you'll know all about this solo.
And I want to show [Bb] you quickly how to play it today.
It's a brilliant one to learn.
Because it's actually very repetitive, it's quite easy to learn actually.
Tell you what, I'll play you the whole thing, and then we'll break it down the section.

we only really need to learn a couple of sections.
Let's [Db] start with the very, very first section. _
_ [Ab] It's in the key of B minor, so we've [Bb] got F sharps and C sharps all the way through.
And the first thing is that great big run that goes all the way up to a high C sharp.
And all that run is, is kind of like a [A] D minor [Bb] scale.
_ _ But we go D, E, F sharp, G, A, A sharp, B, [Db] C, C sharp.
It's kind of like a scale that we look [Abm] from anything at the end.
So again, D, E, F, [Db] G, A, A sharp [Abm] or B flat, B, C natural.

[E] You'll [F] _ [E] _ _ [Ab] _ _ _
_ _ [Dm] _ _ [E] _ [Dm] _ [Db] _ _

be able to get it nice and [Abm] smooth all the way up to the C.
_ Okay, then when the [Bb] melody starts, C sharp, B, F sharp, D.

Okay, [N] so let's try it with the run up.

I just think you'd probably go B, F, C natural, C sharp.
Ah, no.
[A] And then we're to the C sharp, [Ab] B, F [E] sharp, D.
C sharp, [F] B, F [Bb] sharp, D.
[Gbm] A, G, D, [A] B.
A, G, D, _ C [Bbm] sharp, D, C.
_ [G] [Bbm] We've got a big long scale again.
F sharp.

[A] _ _ The difference [Eb] is, the last note, we finish on B.
So we'll do a little run up to that B.
And I think we'll see how good we get.
A, A sharp, or B flat, [Db] then B. _
