[E] [A] [E]
These are [F#m] three of my [C#m] most favorite musicians in [B] the whole [C#] world.
[A] I have known [F] Chico now for almost seven [A#m] years and we've just become [Bm] brothers.
[A]
[E] Steve Cardenas, he's one of these players that is so lyrical.
[C#m] And [E] Julian, his virtuosity and his musicality.
[F#m] So [E] suddenly we had these amazing [G] guitars [A] that I [E] [F] knew [C] intimately
and [A#m] these guitar voices that I had been thinking about for months and months
and suddenly everybody was [B] scrapping [E] it up together.
[Am] [F#] [A]
[E]
[F#m] Being in this [A] place, in this shop, it's [E] very conducive to [D] paying attention to the seasons
because [Em] across my [E] workbench window I'm [A] watching the seasons [B] change.
[E] It began to really just gel, that idea of making four guitars
[Bm] to represent each of the four [E] seasons.
John had asked me to write this piece and when I sat down with the guitars
I realized they can just sort of do just [A] about anything.
[E] It sounds so [Am] natural, [Em] all these instruments.
I mean, I [C] don't think it would [F#] sound so natural in [E] any other instrument like them.
[Em]
It can be like any guitar, other than Montellones.
[F#] [Em]
[A] [C] I can't wait, I'm just excited to kind of listen, you know.
I feel as each one of us, we kind of all have the best seat in the house.
So I'm not going to take that lightly.
I'll really just enjoy it [E] and however well I do it, executing my part, I'm just [G] going to [E] savor it.
