_ I want to talk to anybody who's battling drug addiction or addiction of any kind.
I want you to know tonight that Jesus loves you.
He loves you.
I don't care what wrong you've done.
I don't care what wrong you're doing now.
I want you to know and Jesus wants you to know that He loves you.
_ Your family loves you, despite what lies are being told to your mind.
Your family loves you and only wants the best for you.
I know that you've been given every reason in the world to stop doing what you're doing
and just for some reason you can't find the answer to overcome what you're battling.
_ People's tried to scare you with different stories that tell you, you'll end up like
this one if you don't stop or you'll lose _ your spouse if you don't quit.
Think about your kids and all these are good reasons to quit _ and you've tried to stop but
within your own self you just can't find the ability to stop.
The truth is you don't have what it takes to stop within your own ability.
What we're talking about is sin.
So as bad as you would like to stop and people around you want you to stop, within your own
strength you don't have what it takes.
But if you would deny your own ability and place your faith in the work that Christ has
done at the cross, you would find what it takes to overcome that sin that you're battling.
I want you to know tonight that you're not going to perish.
You're going to make it because Jesus loves you and He cares for you.
He doesn't want to condemn you, He only wants to help you.
And I know that the enemy feeds you lies in your own self, you lie to yourself and say,
well I've gone too far.
I want you to know tonight and Jesus wants you to know, you have not went too far and
there's nothing that's impossible with God.
If you would deny your own ability, say God I can't do it and you know I've tried many
times, _ place your faith in the work that Christ has done at the cross and that my friend is
the only work that has ever defeated sin.
Then you would find what it takes to overcome what you're battling.
You may not be able to do it, but through Christ He can do it because He's already paid for it.
If I ask you to go outside and lift up a pickup truck, you would not be able to do it.
And if I told you try harder, you still couldn't do it.
And that's the problem with sin, it's bigger than what you are.
You cannot do it, it took Christ to die on the cross to overcome it.
And I want you to know today that you can overcome it through the work that Christ has
done at the cross.
If you would just place your faith in [C] Him, _ _ _ _ you're going to [Em] make it today, you're not
going to perish.
