People often ask me is my job very hard do I have to work long hours?
I always reply who cares time flies, but I get to talk to [Fm] guests like my next one
ladies and gentlemen it is [Ab] Sheena Easton
[Fm]
[Bbm]
[Eb]
[Ab]
[C] I'm so one
I'm [G] so one
I'm so one
I love my lovely door prizes
They're fabulous I get to take them home [C] with me
I know they're good aren't they?
gorgeous
I was liking that bathtub thing I thought maybe if they got wet
in those little boxers
your backside is spitting on them
drilling more like it yes
Sheena Easton is back
it's on your new video and everything
Sheena Easton is back
so I see yeah
it's maybe my [Em] tenth comeback in 20 years
[Ab] but I [N] have to say your new album oh god
and it's fabulous
it's quite literally fabulous the CD
but reading the list of songs
it's a lot of covers
things like don't leave me in the way
giving up giving in the single
that's what I'm looking for
I never can say goodbye
can't take my eyes off you
it strikes me did you sit down with like just
some big gay men
and think of what songs to sing yeah basically
you know you're talking about
comebacks and you haven't had a comeback
you've never been away and it's true
you've never been away
I've been away from here for a long time
but look though
and nobody's bought my records here in like 400 years
how much you want for that CD?
I want to give you one of these little funny blue ones how's that?
you know we need
I need two of the pink ones
[Ab] I'll just listen to it on the [B] radio
I'll just listen to it on the radio
oh I worked with Charlene Tilton
I'm thinking we have something in common
I did [C] some TV acting
I wish it was something other than that
[E] [D]
it's just a personal preference that's all
no but she was [Bm]
the barmaid
and I was the pregnant owner
of a haunted pub
quality [D] show
there was a ghost in the bathroom
and it was a true
was his name Dieter?
[N] no I'm saying
what I remember
I do remember kind of
the look you've got the look
when you started the look was so brilliant
and I've got the
it is an odd
oh just show me it
alright well imagine [Db]
Gary Newman
if he'd never got hair [Eb] gel
and he found a hair dryer
[N] that hair is disgusting
let's face it
that's my hair for four years on Dallas
I was obviously doing my own hair back then
oh but then
someone I think you got a stylist in
you got a stylist in
and you weren't happy
when the stylist suggested
a pop star appear on stage
in a [D] blue mohair cardigan
ahhhh
she's so annoyed
I don't even remember
that's got to be in a rehearsal
you've blanked it from your mind
look how unhappy you are
[N] that's probably one of the reasons
why I've been in therapy for so long
I'll try and get over some of this stuff
no wonder they [G] stopped buying my records
but [N] now I have to say we do know that
you wrote a fan letter to Prince
when you got to the States
I didn't write a fan letter to Prince
that's all total nonsense
now what actually happened is
he had the same engineer as I did
I was working on a record
so was he we were about half a mile away
in two different studios in Hollywood
I was doing Johnny Carson's show
I was singing a nice polite little ballad
and he watched the show
and he decided that he wanted to write a song for me
and he wrote Sugar Walls
now for those of you who don't know
Sugar Walls ladies and gentlemen
it's quite rude
I actually did an interview
when I came over
to promote that
and there was a very appalled young lady
who was interviewing [G] me
for a sort of feminist
I would imagine magazine
and she was just appalled
and she looked at me and she said
how can you bring yourself [D] to stand up
in public and sing a song about your vagina
and I just said
well sweetheart if that's what you want that song to be [G] about
God bless you
you go for it
that is what it's about isn't it
temperatures rise inside my sugar walls
a tender loving spot
inside your heart that just melts
when you see your man
or it could be [D] about your vaginas
whatever you want it to be
come spend the night inside my sugar walls
ok he's an all night baker
there you go
that's what it's about
but now what happened did Prince ever visit the sugar walls
no, no he [E] didn't
Prince he is incredibly small isn't he
he's got a big noggin has he
[G] [B]
[N] nothing happened with Bill Clinton either did it
oh I wish it had though
I would have said yes
and I would have dry cleaned the dress
you're [G] not lucky in love are you
I'm terrible in love
wanna try again
was [Eb] that out loud
[G]
well [C] it's not the practicing that I'm bad at
the practicing I'm ok
no I'm terrible at marriage is what I'm terrible at
alright well perhaps it's happening in marriage
so the practicing is always [D] after
there you go
[N] well listen in order so you can get on and practice later
we're coming to the end of the show
but before we do that
in honour of you Sheena and you Mr Duffy we thought
we'd have our own talent contest
for my audience here tonight
audience
talent
words don't really seem to go very well do they
but what the hell we'll see what we drag up
so come with me now Patrick and Sheena
[G] as we play Graham's Big Time
I always reply who cares time flies, but I get to talk to [Fm] guests like my next one
