[F#m] [E] Hi guys, it's Charisse here and the Simple [F#m] Minds Walk Between Worlds [A] Tour is not [F#m] that
far away.
[D] So before we start [Bm] rehearsals for the tour, we're going to be in [E] London because
we are playing two radio [Bm] shows, the BBC Radio 2 Chris [E] Evans Breakfast Show and BBC Radio
4.
[F#m] And also we'll be flying to Glasgow to do a signing at HMV for the new album.
So
I'm going to take you guys with us so you can see what we get up to and what [Bm] life's
like behind the scenes.
[D] So let's [F#m] go.
[E] [Bm] [E]

[B]
I need a tool, the reason why.
What's so amiss, such a lucky child.
[F#m] Then something [B] died, like everybody in [Bm]
Pertinside.
So we've just [F#m] come out of BBC Radio 4.
And how was it Jim, how did it go?
[Bm] First time it was like magic.
[D] It was?
I was nervous.
[B] You were [F#m] nervous?
I was a little [B] bit.
When we do these things, you [F#m] know when they're kind of like, [D] playing's easy, [F#m] it's all this
stuff of starting [E] one minute, finish then, make it three minutes, [F#m] not a second more,
all those restrictions that when you do [E] TV editing versions, it can be a bit [F#m] panicky
a minute before you [Bm] start.
But then [D] when the music starts, Charisse, [F#m] [E] you're right there.

Hi guys, we're [Em] here, we've just done BBC Radio 2, Chris Evans' Brexit show, [B] which was?
How was it?
[G] Really good, it was so nice to [D] be back there with Chris because [G] the [Am] whole acoustic [Em] adventure
that we did [G] really began through his encouragement.
[D] Of course, the album and the tour and meeting
you through that.
So [F#] to be back here [F#m] three years later and the [D] day the new album came
out, it's just too good an opportunity to [Em] not do.
[C#m] I mean, you saw there, you're in a
[Bm] tiny room [Em] technically, but nothing.
But it's too good [G] an opportunity.
Radio 2, I think
it's biggest [Bm] audience in [F#] Europe of all the radio stations, not only in Britain but in
Europe.
And the Morning Show with Chris [G] is the biggest show too.
So to have that [C] opportunity
of promotion on the [G] day that the album came out [Cm] is pretty wonderful.
[Bm] [F#m] [E]
[F#m] [Bm]
[D] [F#m] [E]
[F#m] [D] Lovely jacket.
We're talking about [F#m] Simple Minds.
[E] You were a fan since you were 14?
[C#m] No, well, I first [D] seen them when I was 11 on the telly, but [F#m] I became a fan when I was
14 and [D] that was it.
What do you think of the new album?
[Bm] It's absolutely wonderful.
It's fantastic.
I love it.
Every single [E] track, it's fresh,
it's [C#m] energetic.
It's the [F#m] new Simple Minds.
So [B] that [F#m] went really, really [D] well and we had so much fun playing on the radio shows and
the signing was [E] fantastic as well and it was really nice to meet some of you who I'd not
met [D] before.
Stay tuned for part one next week and you can see what we've been up to and
how rehearsals have [E] gone.
Also, I'll be showing extra [F#m] special behind the [D] scenes bonus footage
on my personal YouTube channel, [F#m] Cherisso [E] Say.
So until then, I hope you all have a
great week and I'll see [F#m] you soon.
Bye!
