[N] Hey, thank you for watching.
If you really enjoyed this song and you really like this style of guitar playing and you're
really into the whole rockabilly sound, then I invite you to take a peek at my website
at DamianBacci.com.
I have a brand new instructional DVD course on the ins and outs of rockabilly guitar.
Okay, as promised, I've got a couple of ideas that I wanted to [B] show you that you can use
on your version of Sleepwalk.
All right, let's do it.
Okay, now here's one of the things that I wanted to show you that you can play in this song.
[C]
[Am] [Fm]
[Em] [Dm] [G] [Am]
[Fm] [Em] [Dm]
[C] All right, now let me show you what I was doing.
Okay, so what you do is you play a C chord like this,
[Am] and then that, on the D string
you're playing the [C] 10th fret.
On the G string [E] you're playing the 9th fret.
On the B [Am] string you're playing the 10th fret.
On the E string you're playing open.
All right, and then you're going to keep your [E] fingers in the same position, but you're going
to move down, okay, to the 6th fret on the D string, [Fm] 5th fret on the G string, and 6th
fret on the B string.
[Am] So it's, [Fm]
[Dm] all right, and [E] now you're going to slide up there [Bb] to the [B] 8th fret on the [G] D string,
7th fret on the G string, 8th fret on [Fm] the B string, back down, [Em] and then you go down
a fret to the 5th fret there on the D string, 4th fret on the G string, 5th fret on the
B string, [Dm] and slide down to [Ab] the 3rd fret [Dm] on the D string, [A] 2nd fret on the G string,
[Ab] and 3rd fret on the B string.
All right, [C] so it's, [Am]
[Fm] [G] [Dm]
and now for the next part, [Em] which is this.
[Am]
All right, [Em] everything else is the same except for this, all right, and what you're playing
there, G [E] string, 9th fret, [Em] B string, 8th fret, 7th fret, E string,
[Am] [Fm] [Em] [Dm]
[C] C chord.
[Db] And lastly, here's another idea.
[E] [Am]
[Ab] [G]
All right, let [Abm] me do it again.
[C] [Am]
[Fm] [G]
And what I'm doing is just on the G and B string, I'm sliding up from the 4th fret to
the 5th fret playing [Am] the G and B, [Abm] all right, and then next I'm going to play the G, B,
and E string, 4th fret to the 5th fret together, [Am] all right, and then I'm going to go to the
1st fret there, G, B, and [Fm] E string, [G]
kind of [N] play a G chord there, [B]
[E] 4th fret on the [Gm] G string,
3rd fret on the B and E string.
So again, [E] it's just, [C] [E] [Am]
[Fm] [G] all right, have fun with that.
Take care, everyone.
See you soon.
Bye.
