[G] This year we just released our fourth LP,
[N] it's called Black to the Future.
You know due to the pandemic we haven't [B] been around each other and had the [G] opportunity
to perform and all rehearse with each other so to be able to come back in this space and
play for you know in the basement something as you know important as this is a great [D#m] privilege.
[N] Creating in the moment where you know anything can happen, mistakes, spontaneity from different
[B] musicians I think the live experience and [N] really creating and accepting what is created
in that moment is a [A#] very powerful [C#] [A#] thing.
[C] [F#]
[G] [C#] [N]
More kick, so more Fionn Freddy and I'm good, you're good so you want less shit back in there.
[F] This feels like in between studio and [N] live, it's more accessible for some people to see
if they can't get to a live show.
Yeah it's been great, it's been a really good experience, nice space.
[D] You know a lot of times when we're playing it's shut our eyes, well I shut my eyes, so
it's like you're trying to get to a place where you're [Dm] engaging with the musicians around
you even on top of anything to do with the audience.
[G] So I just find that that [N] side of things just gets emphasised, the side of things of really
concentrating on the music itself as opposed to having to take that music that you're creating
and then project it towards an audience.
And I think that's a good thing you know actually to really see the meditational and the kind
of introspective aspect of the music as opposed to the performative aspect.
It's good to just see actually what lies on that other side of the musical experience
and how that can actually infiltrate [Fm] and actually [E] get [D] our live performance to be even [E] more reflective
of who we are as artists.
