In addition to the [Abm] powerful ZEN-Core and V-Piano engines, Phantom now has a selection of Supernatural
strings, brass, bass, vocal and world sounds and now with the latest update, Supernatural
Piano and Electric Piano engines.
_ So what exactly is Supernatural?
It's modelling technology and unlike sampling, creates smooth transitions between different
notes and different velocities, so there isn't any noticeable change in sound and no looping
as there can be in sampling.
The string sounds are amazing with Supernatural because you have all of these possibilities
with different articulations [Bb] and different variations of your sounds. _
[Eb] _ _ _ [Ab] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ You can use your pitch bender to increase the volume but it also increases the tone
and the swell, just like the violin orchestra is actually bowing and you can use the S1,
S2 and S3 buttons to give you different articulations. _ _ _ _ _

_ _ _ _ _ _ _
And with some of the instruments there are things that you just can't do with a sample library.
For example, I'll play a legato sound, _ _
_ _ _ [G] select S3 and we get tremolo, _
[Eb] release it and it goes
back to the legato sound.

_ _ _ _ _ _ Instruments like the solo violin, _ _ [Gm] _ _ [Ab] _ _
_ [G] _ plays monophonically unless I play [Ab] with a chord.

_ _ Again with [Eb] variations. _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [Bb] _ _
_ _ _ [Eb] _ _ _ You can see your [Gm] variations on screen as well too, just with tone edit and you have your
staccato, pizzicato, tremolo and you can also increase your noise level which is great for
more resin and bow effect.
And also things like the trumpet where you have the fall.

The bass for example also gives you things like [F] slap, harmonics and if you do grace notes
it also gives you the articulation of the bass player sliding his finger up the neck
of the bass. _

_ _ Also some of the supernatural sounds have the ability to choose different keys when
you're using the pitch bender to do roll offs.
_ So they [Bb] can be minor _ or major.
And for example if I choose a harp you can go into glissando mode and choose different
scales and then just [Ab] play _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [Abm] _
_ glissandos and it will choose the specific [G] notes whether they
be diminished, majors, minors but all the notes will [D] repeat just as if you're playing
a real harp.
The brand new Supernatural acoustic and electric [N] piano sounds are full of character with no
velocity switching and sounds amazing.
The new electric pianos of course have things like key off sounds just to give it that extra
organic realistic feel.
