We've uploaded a whole bunch of those classic country songs on YouTube, so if you want to [D] check out some more of that, then you can certainly go to YouTube and input Alan Spinney.
And you'll find Alan just with his guitar sitting by the old wood stove, [E] and he's singing a lot of those classic country [G#] songs.
We're going to come around to a new [N] record that we have coming out.
Folks, we've been, as I mentioned earlier, 19 years we've been performing.
Out of those 19 years, we have 10 CDs available, and just this year is our first time being on a record label.
And we're so excited about that.
This [E] past year has been a great year for us.
Two years ago, we took our music full-time on the road, and this past year, after going to [B] Nashville and taking part in the IBM A's, we were signed by a record label out of Virginia.
Mountain [F] Fever Records is the name of the label.
So we're really excited to have a [N] brand new record coming out in about a week's time.
We're going to do a couple of those songs throughout the evening off that new record.
Here's one right now that we're going to [C] do, and we always like to say, you know, this is, although it's a four-piece band, really it's an eight-piece band.
[F#] You don't see the other members of this band, and [G] that's our why.
Support us 100% and allow us to do what we love to do and put trust and faith that we're going to bring money [C] back home.
We haven't told them yet that that's not going to happen.
[N] So we're going to do a song and send it out to them because this is, for us, it's a glorious light.
We have such a great time out on the road, and we are so fortunate to be able to do what we love doing for a living.
We couldn't do it without the loving support of them back home, so this song is certainly very fitting for that.
It's one called What a Wonderful Life.
[D]
Just crossed my mind lying here next to you You have made all of my sweet dreams come true
I've got more love than [G] most [D] men ever see What a wonderful life this turns out to be
[G] Don't wake me up [D] if it's only a dream [A] I don't want to know if [D] it's not what it seems
[G] Don't know [C] anybody as lucky [D] as me What a wonderful [A] life this has turned [D] out to be
[G] [D] [A]
[D]
There was a time when I wandered alone I begged upon fire, searching for a home
Till you came along, [G] I desperately [D] seeked
[D] you
[G] Don't wake me [D] up if it's only a dream [A] I don't want to know if it's not what it seems
