[G]
[A] Hi, [E]
I'm Kay Hanley.
And I'm Michael Eisenstein.
And we're [G] in the band Letters to Cleo.
[A] [E]
Hi, welcome to SAG Hair Parlor.
I'm Jamie.
Hi, I'm Kay.
[A] Good to meet you.
Hi, Jamie.
Michael.
Good to meet you.
Nice [C#] to meet you.
Come on over.
[G#m] [B]
[C#]
[A] Okay, what would you like to do with your hair [C#] today?
I'd like to go a little shorter, maybe a little more blunt.
[G#m] Letters to Cleo started [G#] in 1990 [C#] and we made three albums together and broke [G#m] up in 2000.
[B]
[C#] I really didn't want to be a lead singer and beyond [F#m] core, I really wanted the ability to
go behind the [E] scenes.
[B]
The newest incarnation [C#] of my career is writing music for children's television.
[G#m] My style [G#] in the 90s was [B] definitely 14-year-old [C#] grunge boy.
I remember seeing Shirley Manson for the first time and I was amazed that she had the wherewithal
[G#] to do her hair and [G#m] put on makeup and dress up.
What I showed up wearing that day [C#] was what was like the least wrinkly thing on the floor.
[F#] Hello pretty [B] boy, [C#]
[F#] take my [A#] bare feet [B] high, let the [F#] blue [C#] skies roll.
So we're putting out [F#] an EP called Back to Nebraska and [A#] it's got five brand new [B] songs on it.
We're [F#] doing [C#] dates in San Francisco, [F] Los Angeles, [A#] Chicago, New York, and [B] Boston.
You're all set.
What [F#] do you think?
[C#] It's so choppy.
I love it.
[E] [G#m]
[F#] [E] [F#] Every band I've ever been in develops a unified style over time [A#] by [G] traveling, shopping [G#] together,
sharing clothes.
So we definitely were out on the road, going to the thrift [B] stores together, shopping instead
of doing laundry.
A unified look [E] emerged.
Alright, you're good to go.
Tell me when you're coming over, [A] when you're coming [D] into town.
[B] Doesn't gotta [Em] be a big deal, [A] I just like [D] having you [B] around.
I finally [Em] found you like a four [A]-leaf clover and [F#m] I'm feeling [B] like I'm [E] seventeen.
[A] Back [Em] when my heart was [A] broken, my skin was [D] paper thin.
[B] But I got [Em] my shit together, [A] I'm never gonna [D] cry [B] again.
Now [Em] that my soul is
[A] undefended, I'm [F#m] a winter [B]
[Em] magnolia tree.
[E] [A] You [D] can't have enough [A] love in life, [D] scoop [Em] it up and hold [D] on tight.
Remain [A#] afraid, [Bm] make [D] mistakes, and love, love, love, [A] love [D] anyway.
Feel like I've [Em] always known [A] you in some [D] capacity, [B]
but I [Em] don't wanna own [A] you.
I'm too [D] tired to be in free, [B] so I'll be [E] cool if [A] nothing happens.
But if [F#m] it does, [B] that's also [E] fine by me.
[Em]
Ah, [Gm] ah, ah, [A] ah, ah, ah, ah, ah.
[D] You can't have enough [A] love in [D] life, scoop [Em] it up and [A] hold on [D] tight.
[A] Remain afraid, [B] make [D] mistakes, and love, love, love, [A] love anyway.
[D] [Em] [A]
[D] [Em] [A]
[Bm] [D]
[A] [D]
I'll find [E]
those.
[G] Ba-ba-ba [A]-da-ba-ba-ba [D]-ba-da-da-da-da-ba [A]-ba-da-ba.
[D] I'll hide a skycar
[E]
[D] Ba ba ba da [A] ba ba ba [G] ba da da da ba ba [A] da
[E] Tell me when [Em] you're coming over
[A] When you're [D] coming in the [B] town
Doesn't gotta [Em] be a big deal
[A] I just like having [D] you [B] around
I finally found you [E] like a four [A]-leaf clover
[F#m] And I'm feeling [B] like I'm [E] seventeen
[A] Tell me when you're [D] coming over
Tell me when you're coming over
Tell me when you're coming over
[Dm] [G#]
