So over to [F#m] Stevie Nicks.
Now what [G#m] made or motivated you
to join Fleetwood Mac?
Mick [F#] asked us [E] and the motivation stemmed out of a [B] need to work and a
we liked him very much and we [G#m] felt that if [F#] the [E] relationship could continue to be as good as it
was when we first met [G#m] that it would have to be a good band.
And so we left the decision on whether
or not we would join [F#] the band until we went out to dinner with them.
And [E] it was there was never a
question nobody ever said do you [G#] want to join our band it was just like we had dinner and when we
left everybody just sort of hugged each other and said well [F#] rehearsal is next week at seven o'clock
[B] and [E] it was done.
There wasn't ever any [G#m] audition or rehearsal you know to see if we were right for the band.
Were you a sort of a great fan of Fleetwood Mac [D#] before you [F#] joined the band?
[F#] I [C#] didn't know very much about [E] Fleetwood Mac.
No?
I [G#m] immediately went out and got all the albums and played them back to a friend.
And were you surprised?
[F#m] Well I wasn't [G#] surprised I just wanted to [E] find out if I could find any
running theme that went [B] through from the beginning with all the different people that were in the band
to up where we were.
Did you find that?
Yeah.
[G#m] What other things behind the scenes [F#] motivates
Stevie Nicks and [E] what are your likes and dislikes?
I like [B] this house.
Yeah it's a beautiful house.
It belonged to an old sign at the movie studio.
It was there.
You see it.
And [G#m] I like antiques.
[F#] I like old things.
[E] I must be very old underneath because I love [G#m] beautiful old things.
I love dancing.
I love most of all writing songs.
Obviously [F#] you like animals.
What's your little dog's name?
I love animals.
Ginny.
Yeah.
Jennifer.
[E] And how long have you had her for?
Eight years.
[G#m] I got away before I had any money.
I didn't have near enough money to buy her for a [G#] hundred dollars at two weeks old at three weeks old.
[F#] She's one of the things that I have had to give up for Fleetwood [E] Mac because you're not home so you
can't take care of your little [B] charges.
Well [G#m] becoming one of the biggest [D#m] names in the rock
scene today.
