[Eb] Where's everybody going?
there's a small thing.
7-Eleven.
[Eb] Oh yeah.
We'll need a session.
[D] so why did you guys [Eb] decide to come on this tour?
You might not be too bad with them because there's a van.

You might not be too bad with them because there's a van.
We've got you now.
_ [Eb] _ _ Where's everybody going?
I think there's a small thing.
The beer store.
_ Yeah, no shit.
7-Eleven.
Do they have [D] like a, do they have a medical tent [D] here at all?
[Eb] Oh yeah.
Okay, good.
We'll probably need it.
We'll need a session.
[C] Alright, there you [Eb] go.
Call the rocks.
Okay, [D] so why did you guys [Eb] decide to come on this tour? _
We thought it was the best thing for us to do this summer. _
_ [Bb] It's pretty much the coolest thing to do.
Yeah, we're out here with all the skaters and the BMXers.
Yeah, we've done a lot of good.
We hang out with Remy and [F] Salba.
Just cracking humongous airs every day.
It's so killer.
There's a voice from our hotel, so we just, it's a big party for us every day.
It's like summer camp.
[D] _
You've been to other countries, like [Eb] California bands, [C] New York bands.
Yeah, we came out here with a lot of friends.
Yeah, no use for a name.
[Eb] _ You guys skate?
Or bike?
[F] We skate.
You do?
[Eb] _ I did all I could.
Borderline Millimeter went out last night.
_ They went out in [B] a big way.
They went out already.
They went skating.
They were up to about six in the morning somehow.
Skating.
_ _ _ _ [Eb] _
They're a party.
So what is it like about this? _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
You get a broad spectrum of bands, and [F] they get to see a lot of the board [D] sports going on.
It's like all the big underground scene.
_ Anytime you get [Eb] _
BMXers and the skaters and stuff, it's all about that underground scene.
The guy putting it on, Kevin Lyman, he did the first three Lollapalooza's.
He said, _ this one's most reminiscent of the first Lollapalooza because the bands are semi-unknown.
_ [E] The bands and the crew are all traveling together.
Whereas in subsequent _ Lollapalooza tours, _ _ everybody [Ab] said, the venue was like this.
They said, you go to the next venue, and we'll see you there.
Everybody had to get their own transportation.
[Eb] But now we're in a big caravan with [Abm] buses.
We all eat our cereal in the morning together. _ _
[Eb] A lot of camaraderie.
We had a bus that broke down, so we had to split up a bunch of people and overpack our [F] buses.
It was [Ab] really neat because every day you're [E] almost forced to meet people.
It's really neat.
[Ab] It's like [Eb] the complex.
_ _ Hardcore music is something that goes with skating.
What is it about?
It's an aggressive sport. _ _ _ _ _
Aggressive attitudes.
You need it.
_ _ Slamming down on the masonite.
_ _ _ [Fm] DRC's solver, when he [Bb] slams, he goes,
[Eb] BAM! _
What is that? _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Sometimes, sometimes,
_ _ I go and kick back up [Bm] on the thing with him and check it out.
_ _ [C] I don't drop in with everybody.
I guess I'm going to have a big lesson from _ Remy [Eb] Stratton.
_ I got a lesson from [Ab] John.
He came up and gave me his bike [Bb] and I went up and I went down [Dm] quicker than I went up.
_ [Eb] The other part?
_ [Eb] Yeah, that little_ _
Nothing.
Not [C] much.
_ I'd do it again.
_ _ _ _ [D] Are you kidding?
What for?
_ What's up there?
They put a beer up there, I will. _
_ _ _ _ I don't know.
All right.
[Gb] We'll do it.
I don't know.
_ _ _ [A] I don't know.
I don't know.
Why do you guys tell me about [Eb] the video that's playing on MTV now?
Tell [Eb] me a little bit about it.
It was produced by a man named Ron Jeremy.
_ _ Very, very fine actor.
Right?
_ He's a bum.
Yeah, he's pretty much a bum out.
He's a bum out.
We don't like to hang out with him too much anymore, but he always produces it.
I think he did a fabulous job.
For, I mean, for 2005, she can't make a better video. _ _
_ What?
_ _ People are going to misunderstand it, you think?
Oh, well, yeah, yeah.
It was pretty much just a joke.
Yeah, whatever.
It was a joke.
Whatever was capping on us for _ promoting the David thing, so [Dm] we figured, all right, here
you go, here's some Russian.
_ [B] _ If I could write more songs like that to make [Eb] people at least get off their butt [D] and think
about something, [Eb] I don't know.
I'd do more.
_ [Eb] But_
It certainly wasn't one of those songs where you can reach down into your soul and try
to make a statement. _ _ _
_ [D] Sorry.
_ No.
_ [Eb] _
You have to make a statement when you need a song.
No. _ _
_ And what are you guys doing after this?
We're going to write this back in the studio, I think.
_ _ _ We do have a record by Christmas again.
_ [G] Again, I don't know if we're going to be good boys and get right back on it.
We're probably going to [Bb] be back on the road, [Eb] knowing our _ _ bosses, knowing our management.
We'll be back on the road.
That's where we like to be, though.
You stay out of trouble out here.
_ Yeah, we're occupied.
We're going to go home and find other things to do, because usually we don't get together
and jam, because we've been jamming all the time.
So _ _ we all spread apart and do our own things.
_ _ _ _ _ We all spread apart and do our own things. _ _ _
Are you going to be playing another festival kind of thing again?
[Ebm]
Oh, absolutely.
This is definitely one of the ways to go. _ _
This is the first time we've ever been on a real live tour bus.
_ _ We've always [Eb] been in our little van with the dogs and everything else crammed on there.
Now we've got the bus, we've got the videos. _ _
Cool.
Yeah, I'd like to do more of this stuff. _ _
[D] Absolutely.
Well, thank you [A] guys.
_ Anything else you want to say?
[Eb] _ I'm just going to be plain old Albert [F] when we get
[Eb] _ _
You might not be too bad with them because there's a van.
