The film in this bit [Abm] with the guy sort of stomping along, singing a song late at night,
I loved that because that's one of the best experiences of how to listen to suede that
I think I have done since I [Db] was about 16 and I suspect many suede fans have as well.

were you trying to convey with that?
[Bb] On one hand we wanted a little bit of a lighter [Ebm] moment in the film, [Eb] but it's not heavy on
the lightness.
It was the kind of blind optimism that [Abm] he might be able to do something to change
his life really.
Which is again a nice contrast [Db] because it's not necessarily what's going on lyrically
in the song is it?
The [Ebm] song is kind of, [E]
I think it's quite unusual, [Gb] musically it's [Ebm] not really like anything we've
done before is it?
Yeah I think it's more [B] spunky.
Yeah it kind of treads dangerously close to funk which is a [E] horrible place to be treading
dangerously close to for us.
[Eb] We're always very aware of not [B] stepping over the line.
I thought that was a nice skip to it, but hopefully it [Eb] doesn't sound like we're trying
to do that.
Have you sold?

We weren't [Abm] referencing anything in particular, but I think we were aware of a record like
I suppose Station to Station [Dbm] where you try and have something a bit more, [Bb] the beats a
bit more jagged, but also very mindful of the way Simon [Gb] and Matt play.
I quite like those _ things like Another Brick in the [N] Wall.
