Sweet Comfort is kind of an unusual name
Is there any specific reason why you named or you guys named the group Sweet Comfort?
Well Rick the drummer came up with the name
And Sweet Comfort is meant as another name for Jesus
For instance in the scripture the Holy Spirit is called the Comforter and the Counselor
And Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit and God the Father being three in one
Sweet Comfort is just another name for Him
I know that you guys are going to be going on the road
And going on the road is kind of hard
The old spiritual life
How do you guys keep kind of in tune with the Lord being on the road so long?
One thing we do
It's neat because the Holy Spirit is always keeping check on us
And on top of that we kind of are always looking after each other
If you know what I mean
We find it's very important to read the word everyday
And anytime you compromise and think
Well I'm really tired tonight I'm not going to read the word today
But I'll read it, I'll read more tomorrow
That we found it's really important to read the word everyday
Or else you can get in the habit of leaving it for two or three days at a time
And it's the same thing as food
If you went without a meal you'd feel hungry
And you'd feel the need for it
Suddenly you'd know because of the pain that something's wrong
You need the food
And spiritually it's the same way
When we're not reading the word we know it
And the more we stay in the word the healthier we are
And the more spiritually in tune we are with the Lord
So that's the most important thing on tour is the word
