Hey guys, this is Hendrik from Orchestral Tools and I will give you today a first look on our upcoming library Symphonic Sphere.
Symphonic Sphere is an orchestral library specialized in atmospheric, flicker and shimmering articulations.
The library has many never recorded playable patches and scripts inspired by music of Debussy, Ravel and all the Disney stuff,
so you will find thousands of trills, tremolos and glissandos in many different styles.
Symphonic Sphere is covering a huge 16 violins group section, violas, celli, basses, a woodwind ensemble,
orchestral percussion and a symphonic harp.
What you can see here is the trills orchestrator for violins and
this is a fantastic new and absolutely flexible tool and [G] an easy way to work with trills.
We have recorded a huge amount of fingered tremolos in three velocity layers and
beside the half tone and whole tone trills you are now able to go up to never recorded fourth and three tone and fifth trills.
And you can play all these trills without using any key switch.
[Gm]
[G]
[Em]
[A]
The [Eb]
[D]
only thing what you have to do is to press the start [A] tone and then the end tone of the trill,
so that's a much more musical way to work with.
And [Gb] what is absolutely great now is that [Eb] with the trills orchestrator you are able to play flicker chords,
[Am] so you have to roll off the chords you want to play and the violins are trilling between all these notes.
[D] [Am]
[G]
[C]
[G]
We've made the same thing for violas, celli and oh for woodwind ensembles and they are sounding absolutely great.
[Fm] [D]
I like them very much to realize this airy woodwind sound in the orchestration.
The sweeps are nearly impossible to realize with common libraries on a natural way,
so we sampled them and put them into Symphonic [C] Sphere.
[Ab]
[C]
We have made the same fast and slow and [Bb] for half tone and whole tone trills.
[G] [Am]
[B] Of course we have sampled all the basic stuff like sustain, staccatos, pizzicatos
[C] and the sustain patch has a new scripted [Bb] crossfade program which is [Db] much smoother
and we will include the script in the next Orchestral String Runs update as well,
which will be available soon.
And you will hear this in the transitions from [Abm] the different [Gb] velocity layers.
[G]
[Bm]
[A]
[Em]
[Bb] Symphonic Sphere includes also a solponticello set of tremolos, half tone and whole tone trills
and here are the celli, whole tone, solponticello [A] trills which are absolutely [D] spooky.
[Gb] [Abm]
And here are the pizzicato tremolo and in this articulation all the players played the pizzicato tone [C] randomly.
[G]
[C]
Harmonics.
[Cm] [G]
[D]
[G] [Cm] [G]
[E] In Orchestral String Runs we had [A] these short trills or [C] sforzando trills
and now we have done the same thing as a tremolo [A] version for Symphonic Sphere.
[Gb]
[A] [C]
Of course I can't show you all the patches because [Bb] there are more than 80 instruments in Symphonic Sphere.
So this is just the first look on what we are working at the moment
and more infos will follow during the next days.
So hope you enjoyed this video, thank you for watching, bye bye!
