[F#] It feels [B] like nothing is easy, it'll [C#m] never be
[F#] That's alright, [B] let it out, [E] talk to me
[F#m] You don't have [B] to be a prodigy [E] to be [C#m] unique You [F#m] don't have [B] to know what to [E] say or what [C#m] to think
[F#m] You don't have [B] to be anybody you can [C#m] never be
That's [F#m] alright, let [B] it out, [E] talk to me
[C#m] [G#m] Anxiety, [A] tossing, turning in [E] your sleep [C#m] Even if you [G#m] run away, you [A] still see them in [E] your dreams
[F#m] It's so dark tonight, we [B] will survive, [G#] certainly
[C#m]
[F#m] It's alright, [B] come inside and [E] talk to me
We can talk here on the floor, [G#m] on the phone if you prefer
I'll be [C#m] here until [F#m] you're okay
[B]
[E] Let your words release your pain, [G#m] you and I will share the weight
[C#m] Growing stronger day by day
[B]
[F#m] It's so dark outside [B] tonight
[G#] Build a fire warm and bright
[F#m] And the wind it [B] howls and bites
[G#] Light it back with all [C#m] your might
[F#m]
[B]
[G#m] Anxiety, [A] tossing, turning [B] in your sleep [C#] Even if you [G#m] run away, you still [A] see them in your [B] dreams
[F#m] It's so dark tonight, it [B] looks like I'll fall [G#] asleep
[C#m]
It's [F#m] alright, [F#m] come [B]
inside [E] and talk to me
[F#m] [B]
[E] [C#m] [B]
[E] [C#m] [F#m] [B]
[E] [C#m] [F#m] You and I will survive, certainly
[E] It's alright, come inside and talk to me
You have no [B] idea how long it took me to get [E] a full take like that.
I'm just [C#m] so picky with
my [E] music and like [B] I'll slip up on a string one time and I'm like I need to [E] start again.
I need
to burn this guitar [C#m] and buy a new one and then start again.
Also, [G#m] I'm not swearing at you, I smashed
[C#m] my finger in the door yesterday.
I was a little worried that it would affect my guitar [F#m] playing
for my first show coming up on May [B] 4th.
That was probably not exactly [E] what I wanted.
Oh, oh what's
that?
[C#m] I'm just [B] adjusting my cap, my nice cap, my, [E] I'm just adjusting it.
Yes, you [F#] may
notice I'm wearing a cap that says cave on it.
[B]
It's a cave cap.
[E] I've got a cap now, you can buy it.
[C#m] I also have a very [F#m] cool long sleeve which I [G#m] love a lot.
It's got bugs [E] down the sleeves.
It's in the wash right now because [C#m] I've been wearing it like all the time [F#m] because it's just so cool
and it's so [E] comfortable.
Full disclosure, I didn't make the design.
My pal Emerson, I got [F#] him
to do a design for me.
He's a wonderful artist [B] from North Carolina and he [E] makes all this really cool
edgy art and he's super creative [F#] and I've just loved his work for a long [B] time and I decided to
ask him, hey do you want to [E] work on a shirt with [C#m] me?
So we, [C#] so he did and he [G#m] absolutely
nailed it.
He does [E] prints, he actually makes his own, he paints his [G#] own shirts and stuff.
He has like his
own [F#m] line of painted, hand-painted clothes.
[B] That's the sickest thing because I used to do that.
[E] I did
that a long time ago when I did my first merch.
I only released six of them because I [B] didn't have
a lot of money so I went to Promark [E] and bought six shirts and I painted them myself with bleach
and each [B] one took me like half an hour and it was the most stressful thing so I can [E] understand
somewhat what he's doing.
I'm sure his work takes a lot more time than that.
Definitely go and
[B] support him.
He's super talented and I have mad respect for him.
There's [E] links to the new merch
down in the description and also [F#m] to Emerson, his Twitter [B] and other things that he might [E] have.
Go
check out both those things.
Also check out tickets to my shows.
I'm sorry I keep shoving it down [B] your
throat but every video but [E] I'm excited and I want you, uh, if you want to come you can come [C#] to my
shows [F#m] and there's tickets.
Thanks.
Thanks for watching again.
[Em] It's been great.
Hope you like the song.
It'll be coming out in an album soon.
I'll see you next week.
