consistent, that's about the only thing I can say of what I've done.
I've only done what comes natural for me, which of course over the years is, you could
say that it is rather curious for people to in some ways like what I do because it doesn't
seem to be commonplace or the type of thing that most people would have been listening
to in the last decades.
But it is music, so you don't have to recreate it because it's
already created.
The only difference is the variation of volume and chord progressions.
It's just a vehicle to go in the direction of expressing some sentiment, emotion, whatever
you want to call it.
And if the sentiment and the sentimentality or whatever it is that
people express today in their [B] own writing or music or whatever they perform may have
changed.
But that's just a vehicle, it's not necessarily sentiment doesn't really change,
it's just the expression that changes.
And as a consumer of music, if you can't tell
the difference, then you're likely to only respond to what you hear today as being that
which is in some way representing you as the person who lives in the 19, whatever it is,
what is it now, 2000 or something, 1910 or whatever it is you want to call it.
So if
that's how you see yourself, then you must bond with whatever it is which seems to represent
you, which implies that you have no control over that.
Of course we all know that's not
true, I mean you have control over just about anything that comes your way, but that seems
to be the standard, certainly not limited to this era, obviously people liked that all
through the decades and centuries.
Never got the credit [Bb] for this one, but you should know
it by now I would imagine.
