A strange thing occurred _ that soon [G] became news.
The statue [F] of Saint Anne from the window [C] was knocked _ in the driveway below.

[C] _ The little girl ran to [F] the statue [C] [G] below.
_ [C] But when she got there, [C] it was broken [G] and so
She picked up [F] its head _ and kissed it [C] so dear.
In the eyes of Saint _ Anne, [G] tears [C] did [F]
[C] appear.
[G] No one [C] understood _ _ [F] how the statue [C] could cry.
_ The whole world was shocked _ from the tears in [G] its _ eyes.
A miracle [F] of _ God to show this [C] great lamb
That the sick could be healed [G] by the tears [C] from Saint [F]
Anne.
[C] The statue was _ kissed [F] by others [C] who came.
Some didn't believe _ that the tears [G] spilled like rain.
_ Only [F] a kiss from this little [C] _
girl
Caused Saint Anne to cry _ and [G] startle [C] the [F] world.
_ [C] If rain soaks, I know, _ [F] God changed the [C] rain to tears.
This story shall live throughout many [G] years.

To believe in the Lord [G] _ and the tears of Saint Anne.
