I remember [F] the

_ _ _ _ _ _ I was _ dancing with my darling _ to the _ _ Tennessee [C] _ wall _ _ [G] when an old friend I happened _ to [D] _ see. _ _ _
_ _ _ [G] I introduced him to my darling _ and while they [C] were dancing _ _ [G] my friend stole [D] my sweetheart _ _ [G] from _ me. _ _ _ _ _
I _ remember _ [F] the _
_ _ _ [C] _ Tennessee _ _
[G] _ wall _ now I know just how _ much I [D] have lost. _ _ _ _
_ _ [G] Yes I lost my _ little darling _ the night they [C] were playing _ _
[G] that _ _ beautiful _ [D] _
_ Tennessee [G] _ wall. _ _
_ _ _ _ _ Now I wonder _ _ how a dance like the _ _ Tennessee [C] _
wall _ [G] could have broken _ my heart so _ [D]
completely. _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[G] Well I _ couldn't blame my darling _ _ and who could [C] help but fall in _ [G] _
love _ with my [D] darling _
_ [G] so sweet. _ _ _
_ _ Well it must be the [F] fall _ [C] of the _ _ [G] Tennessee _ wall _ wish I'd known just how much it [D] would call. _
_ _ _ _ _ [G] But I _ didn't see it coming _ _ _ it's all over [C] but crying _ [G] blame it all on [D] the _ _ Tennessee [G] _
wall. _ _ _ _ _ _
She goes dancing _ with the darkness to the _ _ Tennessee [C] _ wall _ [G] and I feel like I'm falling _
_ _ [D] apart. _ _ _ _
_ _ [G] And it's stronger _ _ than drink _ _ and it's deeper _ than [C] sea sorrow _
[G] this darkness _ [D] she left in _ [G] my heart. _
_ _ _ _ _ I remember _ [F] the night _ [C] and the _ Tennessee [G] _ _
walls _ because I know _ just how _ much I [D] have lost.
_ _ _ _ _ _ [G] Yes I lost my little darling _ _ the night they [C] were playing _ [G] _ that beautiful _ _ [D] _ _ _ [G] Tennessee wall. _ _ _ _ _ _ _

_ So if [N] if if if _ if _ _ if it must have been a different Tennessee waltz right?
I mean like how could he be listening to this song _ while _ without having written it yet
_ when his darling got stolen by his friend you know what I mean that just seems a little weird.
So I mean don't get me wrong or anything it's like I mean this is a beautiful song but there
must have been another Tennessee waltz right _ that he was listening to before he wrote this
or was it like some fiddle player playing this melody and the next thing you know then the guy's
like oh and then all the words kind of come to him _ I don't know you never know where these songs
come from sometimes it's just ridiculous I mean this is just crazy I mean this this is kind of
like the the watch and like what's that movie with uh Christopher Reeve _ um oh you know that movie uh
_ uh Somewhere in Time yeah all right and Somewhere in Time there's Christopher Reeve right and and
he gets given this watch by the old lady that becomes that later on is Jane Seymour so then he
goes back in time _ _ and he's got the watch because the watch helps him go back in time so then he's
got the watch and then he gives the watch to her but the watch just didn't it's like this weird
little loop like where did the watch come from anyway I'm sorry I didn't mean to go off on some
crazy tangent I hadn't talked to you guys in like forever so _ and this is just on some random video
of Tennessee Waltz so it's not like I'll really be talking _ _ are you really out there I mean I don't
even know I'm just sitting here like playing Tennessee Waltz and the next thing I know I don't
even know if it's like the real Tennessee Waltz maybe there's some other Tennessee Waltz anyway
best of luck thanks for watching bye
