Hey, what's up mark John from fan guitar and ukulele?
I just was going to show you a couple other use that you might like the sound of better a little thin sounding for you
Um I can kind of contrast them to something similar what you have with this Lonnie Kai
Spruce I know yours has a cutaway, so it's a little different, but this is a cord over 20 tm
Solid Mahogany top it's a tenor size
[C]
[G] [C]
Good intonation
[Am] [Gm] Pretty robust sounding probably [A] more
[D] Maybe more [F] what you're used to with that
This free stop line.
I which is a really [G] loud
You know punching instrument
[Eb] So [N] this is the cord over
This is one of my personal favorites.
It's a kala
Acacia tenor Ka dash as a C dash t and it's got a slotted headstock
You know all solid
Acacia rope style binding and [A] rosette some cool-looking inlays [Am] a
[G]
Little bit warmer still has quite a bit of [C] volume
[G] [F] [G]
[C] [G]
[A] [C]
Compared to the Lonnie Kai
[G] [F] [G]
[C] [A] Cord over again compared to that
[G] A [Bb] little bit brighter sounding the [Abm] photo is and [E] then the [C] Acacia tenor a
[F]
[C] Little warmer a little more mid-range, I think um
[N] This one here is another Lonnie Kai one, and it's it's a solid mahogany
It's got a little maple binding around the edge tenor size
[C]
[Cm] [G]
[C]
[Dm]
[G] [C]
This
One as a [C] is one of the louder tenors, I think it's a lighter build
so it's very physically light to the touch and um
You know I think it's a good [F] option
[Ab] And I'll compare that back to the [C] Lonnie Kai spruce
[G] [C] [G]
[C] And then this one is a kala golden Acacia tenor and um this one has a low G string on it
So [F] it's a little bit.
[G]
[C]
[A] [C]
[F] I
It [G] has a little more hollow sounding mid-range
[C] It was a nice low frequency and then a bright top
[B]
[G] Not quite as loud as [Em] the Lonnie Kai, but I think it was kind of like a sophistication to [C] the sound
[Cm] [A] [G]
[E] [Em] [Dm]
[N]
So just a few things that I thought might I don't know if you're [C] still
[B] In the market for you
But um some [N] stuff that that I thought based on sort of your experience with the coed tenor you might be interested in and
You know there it is
