_ I'm gonna teach you another traditional song called Thank You Lord in the key of E flat.
I like to play in E flat.
That's one of my favorite _ scales to play in because my fingers just seem to flow better in E flat.
Some people are good in C major, some people are good in the major scales, and some people are good in the flat scales.
I don't profess myself to be a professional musician, but I play with what I'm most comfortable with.
So here we go.
[Eb] _ Thank _
[Bb] _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ _ _ _
[C] _ [D] _ [Bb] _ _ [Fm] _ _ _ [Eb] _
_ _ _ _ _ [Ab] _ _ _
[Eb] _ _ [Ab] _ [Bb] _ [Eb] _ _ _ _
[Bb] _ _ _ _ [Cm] _ _ _ [Bb] _
[Eb] _ _ _ _ _ [Fm] _ [Eb] _ [Ab] _
[A] _ [Bb] _ _ [Eb] you. _ _ _
[Ab] _ _ [Bb] _ [D] _ [Eb] _ _ Let's break that down.
So, thank you.
It's gonna be E flat, B flat, E flat, and G.
Thank _ _ [Bb]
you.
_ You still keep the [Eb] B flat, you just [Gm] move your E flat down to a D, and you [D] move your G over to an F.
[Eb] So, thank [Bb] you.
_ _ _ [Cm] _ _ _
[Eb] So that's from an [E] E flat, D to a C.
[Eb] _ _ _ _
_ [Bb] _ _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ _
_ _ _ _ [C] _ Then you go to a C.
This is just a filler.
So C with G, C, E. _
_ [Ab] _ Then you go to D.
A [Bm] flat, B, D, [Dm] and F.
_ [Bb] _ That popular chord that I showed you on the previous video, I love you Lord.
That's B flat, D flat, [Db] E, and G.
_ [C]
So,
[Dm] _ [C] _ _ [Fm] _ then you go to an F with an A flat inverted, which is C, E flat, and A flat.
Then [Eb] _
you [G] go to G in the bass on [Gm] the left hand with [Eb] B flat, E flat, and G.
[Ab] [Bb] B flat.
Then you go up to B flat [Fm] with A flat, [Eb] C, E flat, [Bb] and [Ab] F.
So that's A flat, C, E [Bb] flat, and F.
_ [Ab] _ [Dm] _ [Ab] Then you do a filler, which is with an A flat, [Cm] C over [Dm] A flat, and D over B major, [Bb] or B flat maybe.
B flat, D, F.
_ [Ab] _ [Dm] _ [Eb] Then you start over again.
[Bb] _ _ _ [Cm] _ _ _ [Bb] _
Then [D] you walk it back up [Bb] with D, B flat, D, and F.
[Eb] _
_ [Fm] Then you go to F.
[Eb] _ [Ab] _ _ [A] _
[Bb] So _ _ [Eb] _ _ [Fm] that walk up there is _ [F] a_
So it's going to be F [Fm] with C, E flat, A flat.
_ [Eb] Then [Gm] you go to G with B [Eb] flat, E flat, and G.
_ [Fm] _ [Eb] _ _ _ [Fm] _ [Eb] _
_ [Ab] Then you go to A flat with A flat, C, E flat, and F.
[A] _ Resolve it down on the [G] A with [C] G, [Cm] C, [A] and E flat.
_ [Bb] _ _ [Eb] _ _ _ [Fm] _
_ [Eb] _ [Ab] _ [A] _ [Eb] _ _ _
[A] So when you [Am] go from the [Eb] A, then you go up to _ [A]
a_
[Ab] Wait, let's see.
[Fm] I'm sorry.
[Eb] _ [Ab] _ [A] _ [Eb]
[Bb] Yeah, and then when you get to the B flat, [Gm] it's going to be G, B [C] flat, [Eb] C, and E flat.
[Bb] Stay on the B flat, and you just turn it into a B major, which is F, B flat, and D, and I add the C in it.
[Eb] _ Then you go back to E flat [F] with [Gm] F, G, B [Eb] flat, and E flat.
[N] And then that's also the ending part when they just want to keep repeating [Fm] it.
[Eb] The [A] Judge [Bb] opens the door.
[Fm] _ _ _ [Eb] _ [A] _
[Eb] _ _ _ [Fm] _ [Eb] _ [Ab] _ [A] _ [Bb] _
_ [C] _ [Fm] _ [Eb] _ [Ab] _ [A] _ [Eb] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [Abm] Anyway, I wasn't perfect at it, so don't criticize me.
I'm just trying to help you out.
Hopefully these chord progressions will bless you.
Thanks.
