[F] on, hold [Am] me, [G] you know I will.
[F] [A]
[D]
[Bm] Welcome back, nice to see [B] you again, likewise, thank you sir.
Chaz, I asked everybody for
a one line update, for anybody that doesn't know, between 19, whenever it was, [Abm] and now,
what were you up to?
I know, but what?
I produced [Bm] and managed Jimi Hendrix [G] for about two [Ab] years, and then parted company with Jimi
about a year before he died, went back to [A] England, had my own label, and produced and
managed a band called Slade for 12 years.
Remember it well, Alan Price, [B] let me ask you, your show on the West End, Our [Ab] Broadway sort
of thing in London, is now closed?
It came off in January, a thing [Bm] called Andy Cap, based on the strip cartoon, that was
on for a year, and I wrote a film [Bb] soundtrack, [A] Overlook Your Man, and a couple of other things.
Let me [B] run about here, in the back, what were you up to all these years, you left us, did
you work as a drummer?
No, I worked for Chaz, as a sort of well paid friend.
[Gb]
A well paid friend, no [Bb] less, then what were you [B] doing all this time?
Well, I became a Buddhist man.
I know, they say this is the mystery man, you [Bb] moved to LA though?
Yeah, lived in LA seven years.
Nice to have you with us, are you glad to be back together again?
Yeah.
Excuse me Chaz, it's a big one isn't it?
[B]
Whose idea was [Gb] it to put the original Animals together one more [Bb] time?
Nobody will cop to it.
[B] Nobody wants to confess?
It's a mystery.
Is it a permanent gathering do you think?
Will you do more, will you continue [Bb] to travel?
Well we're scheduled [Gb] to do [Abm] a live album, [Eb] as well as a studio album, and we live day to
day, so we'll take it from there, [Bb] we don't know.
It's nice to [G] have you back gentlemen, [Bb]
ladies and gentlemen, the Animals, here's the fix!
