So once upon a time in country music, the goal was to tell the greatest stories known to man.
And there was a time when country music was producing the greatest songs known to man.
Songs written 30 to 50 years ago that people are still listening to today.
And it seems like ballads and story songs just aren't cool anymore to put out in country music,
but I want to know from the country music fans, do you guys want to hear songs like that?
My favorite country song of all time was Ghost Riders in the Sky,
so I went ahead and wrote the prequel to that song.
If you [Gb] ever wondered how the first Ghost Rider came to be,
[G] you might like this song, but you gotta listen to the whole thing to get it.
And if you like this song, like this [Cm] video, comment on this [Eb] video,
and share this with somebody who you think might like this song.
Maybe when I wake up in the morning, this song will be number one on country radio.
