in Austin, Texas to record [Dm] their follow-up to [D] 2012's Adventus.
Now, the result is simply stated, a rock and roll record.
The [A] lyrical themes and tone of [G] the album rendered the title, [D] Ippy Love Punk.

Did some shopping around Austin for some studios [G] and we chose Arlen [F] and [Dm] it's just
full of history.
Lots of records have been made there and just stepping foot into the [F] doors.
It's just rich, [Am] it's been used and has [Dm] the vibe.
We all just agreed [A] that would be perfect for us.
The Mucho vibe, [G] it was awesome.
[C] I mean, all of the gear that's in there is [D] _ _
[F] pretty phenomenal.
[D] There wasn't a microphone in [A] there that wasn't _
[G] 10 [Dm] grand.
_ Vibe really sells _
[G] _ anything.
[D] I had [Gm] to explain to someone [D] why we chose Arlen over [G] _ a different state of [Am] the art multi-million
dollar facility _ [Dm] and the way I explained it to them, I said, [A] well, if you're going to
offer me a new truck, you might [Ab] offer me this shiny [G] new [F] 2014 truck, [Dm] but I really want
that 67 Chevy over there.
_ They understood.
[Am] _ [D] Let's get it over and give it a rest. _

We were [B] working this one up in the [D] shed.
It had some [B] fire behind it and [D] has the attitude.
[B] When it came time for the [C] solo, I just had an idea to, it [D] was kind of a [C] challenge musically.
It's something, [G] I wanted to try an [Em] odd time signature [G] on the guitar [D] solo, and then we
took it to [Em] the studio and [D]
some of the fire it had behind it in the shed, [G] we probably
multiplied [D] that by about [B] 10.
So [Gm] it's got a lot [A] of fire, a lot of fire behind it.

What we [G] need is [D] some sort of revolution.
_ _ The idea for Boss came from _ [C]
my youngest in the pool, the poor day, screaming, [G] you're
not the boss of me.
_ [Bb] That was a really good idea for [G] a punk song, you know?
He was being sweet with me.
He was [C] being very sweet.
He was singing like death metal, like, [Bb] you're not the boss of me.
