[E] Hey, [Eb] what's up you guys?
Marty Schwartz here [Gm] with Marty Music.
Thanks for hanging out.
We're going to do some more doobies.
Anyway, if you haven't yet, I appreciate you, of course, for watching right now and also
hopefully subscribing here to the Marty Music YouTube channel.
I've got links down there including free courses and other awesome guitar learning resources
that I think will help you.
Thank you for that extra support.
All right, let's do this.
[F]
[Gm]
[Dm]
So we have a G minor 7 chord.
So I'm barring across the 9th fret of the guitar right now, like that, barring, and
[E] then hammering on that minor 7.
It looks like an A minor 7.
So that's ring finger on the 12th of the D and middle finger on the 11th of the B.
Now without the chicky chickies, and there's two guitars in that intro right away, left
and right, I think maybe, and then three guitars because there's an acoustic.
I'm just choosing to do it on acoustic, but you could definitely rock this out on a strat.
[Gm] So, so, dun, da dun.
And so that first one is where you hammer.
[E]
We're going to [Gm] add some chicky chickies in between, but,
[F] and then two, da da, the third
one, the fingers come off.
I mean, the bar is going to stay, but [Gm] [F]
[N] just like [Gm] that.
[Bb]
[Gm] [Dm] So bum, ba, da.
[Gm]
[F] [Gm]
And see how it connects back to that first rhythm again.
[Em] [Gm] [F]
[Gm]
[F]
[Gm] [F] [Gm]
[N] So that's basically what you want to do and speed it up.
And then the electric, clean electric guitar in the right speaker or right headphone, the
right, is adding those chicky chickies.
The guitar part on the left is actually just [Gm] going.
So you know, the chicky chickies are definitely, you know, more fun and make it more interesting
if you're playing it by yourself.
Okay.
So it's just like a minor blues.
So that's the first chord.
Then it goes to the C minor seven, which is the same vibe, but barred on the third [Eb] fret.
[F] [Gm]
Doesn't do that exact rhythm on the C minor.
[Eb]
It's a little more grooving, but it's a C minor seven.
[Gm] And you can do that [Eb] same move right there.
Then you've got a turnaround, which is very much like a minor blues turnaround.
Like this is very much like the thrill is gone.
Classic that BB King did.
All right.
So the turnaround, we're going to play an E flat major chord.
And so what I'm doing is I'm barring across the sixth fret and playing this A major shape
with my ring finger.
Then you [N] move that down a half step, but add your pinky to the eighth fret B string and
that becomes a D sus [Gm] four.
Then the pinky comes [D] off and it's a regular D major.
Same [G] thing as this.
[D] So that is there.
It's the exact same thing.
[G] [D] [Gm]
