Riders on the Storm, Hello I Love You, and Light My Fire, all big hits by the Doors.
As was Touch Me, which came out in late 1968 and made it to this album in 1974, called Heavy Metal.
A double LP, a compilation of some of the big rock songs of that time,
including tunes by Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, and Black Sabbath.
Now, the engineers that put this LP together decided to give Touch Me a little extra punch to keep up with those heavy hitters.
They added more compression and limiting to give it a more in-your-face kind of sound.
Now, to hear the difference, which I call the power version,
it would be best to listen to it on a couple of decent sized speakers next to your computer.
Those listening on a laptop might not hear quite the difference, but let's listen to a little bit of the original [Am] Touch Me. _
