[D] Hey, [B] what's up you guys?
Marty Schwartz here with Marty Music.
Thanks for hanging out.
We're going to break down this classic Faces tune right now.
Really fun one.
Also, if you haven't yet, I appreciate you subscribing here to the Marty Music YouTube channel.
[F#] And if you check the description below, there's links for free courses and other killer bonuses
that you should check out.
And I appreciate that extra support.
All right, [D] let's do it.
[Em]
[D] [Em]
[D] [Em]
[D] [Em]
[D] So if you're a beginner, [A] you could almost play the whole song just strumming D major
to E minor.
Then you also have a melody.
[E] [A]
[D] [E] [D]
[Em]
[D] So we have to combine a melody together with the D major and E minor chord to play that
really pretty sounding song there.
So as a beginner,
[Em] [D] you could go down, down, down, up, down, up, down, down, down, up,
[Em] down, up.
[D] [Em]
[D] [Em]
[A]
So within that, you've [D] got this kind of, you need to use your pinky to hit the fourth fret
G string, and you're going to need your pinky to hit the fourth fret D string within that little bit.
So check it out.
We're going to go.
[G#] So I'm [D] just going D, D, da, [G#m] da.
I'm adding my pinky up to [A] the fourth fret G.
[D] [A] Back off.
Back off.
[F#] Then you're going for fourth of [D] the D.
[Em]
[F#] [E] Da, da, da, da, [Gm] da, da.
And so that's open G, [F#] [G] fourth on the D, [F#]
second time, [B] and then that second fret.
[E]
[G] And then right to that full D [A] chord.
[D]
[Em] [B]
[A] [D] [Em]
[D]
[Em] [D]
[Em] [D] [G]
[D] [G] [D]
[G] [Em] [A] [D]
[A] [D#] So there's just a little bridge that you could jam over.
D, D, G, D, D, G.
And it's all [F] D major [E] pentatonic, [D] which looks the same as the B minor pentatonic.
And then [Em] you can turn it around with a quick E minor [A]
A if you [G] want.
Strong turnaround back [D] to the.
[Em] [D]
[Em] [D]
[A] [D] [Em]
[B] [Em]
[A] [D]
[Em] [B] [E]
[A] [E] All right.
I hope you guys had fun with that.
