Hey everyone, my name is Ryan and today I'm gonna go over 10 must-know G licks or G runs
for any bluegrass guitarist, okay?
And if you'd like to download the tab, I got them all printed off all nice, and you'd like
to download the rest of this video, click the link below and you'll sign up, enter your
info there, and then it'll land you right on the page to watch the full-length video.
Download it if you want and download all the tabs, all 10 G runs if you'd like.
If you're already a member at my site, then you already have all this and it'll be on
in the free member area, you don't have to worry about it.
So I'm gonna go ahead and play you, again, I'm gonna play all 10 of these G runs, then
we're gonna break them down.
We're gonna kinda start, you know, from basic and then kinda build on them as we go along all 10.
So yeah, and actually the first one is the one that I suggest really getting a handle
on, it seems so basic but it sets up everything else I think for that feel you want when you're,
you know, to get a good G run, to be in the pocket, so to speak.
[D] So here, I'm gonna play them all and then we'll break them down.
So that's [G] [D] the most basic form, [G] you really wanna get that one down.
Okay, next one, just a little variation.
Okay, next one, messed it up again.
There we go.
[D]
Next one, maybe known as the lazy G run.
Next one, [G]
full G run there.
[D]
How about a little bluesy, [G]
little Del McCurry.
Next, [Em] [D] I like that one.
[Em] [D]
Next one, just a little variation.
Next one, a little Del McCurry again.
Next, I like that one too.
Last one.
Cool.
So again, see how we built and we just did little variations and you can kinda pick and
choose what you want.
The saying kinda goes, there's as many G runs as there is guitar pickers.
But here is [C] 10, you know, not to say basic but 10 solid G runs to really, you know, get
you a nice little tool bag full of them.
Because you certainly wanna have a handful, you don't wanna be doing the same ones over and over.
So again, if you wanna download the tabs in the video, click the link below, you enter
your email and boom, it'll land you right on a page you can download, [Eb] watch the rest
of this and get the tabs.
So members, let's [N] continue on.
