What's going on?
Huh?
Oh, hey.
Oh, Chicken Foot 3?
You want to talk about the album?
Come on.
Do that.
What?
Uh-uh.
Come this way.
Oh, thank you.
Okay, let's talk about Chicken Foot 3, shall we?
[F#]
[E] [F#m] [B]
I [F#m] really think this CD is more of what we are.
[A] We took it deeper.
We showed you more of us.
You're getting a bigger piece.
You're
getting a bigger taste of the chicken.
[F#] We're cooking that foot up [B] good this
time, [F#] baby.
Woo, we cooked that foot up.
[A] We [E] left some
feathers in that mother.
[F#m] I said, you know, it doesn't matter what it's called, you
know.
It's the music.
That's what matters.
Man, the [A] chemistry happened.
It was like,
boom.
Since we [F#] got back in the studio, it was like,
Chicken Foot's back.
[N]
[F#m] [F#]

[B] [A]
[F#] [F#m]
[A] [F#]
[F#]
[Am]
[G#] [A]
[A#] Something like that.
[D#m] I think Chicken Foot 3, [D#] and I actually told this to [D#m] somebody
the other week, there's more meek to it.
It's thicker.
It's more involved.
Obviously, the band has evolved as a band and grown as a
band.
[D#] The [D#m] songs, not that they were jam [D#] songs
on the first album, but the songs are a [D#m] lot deeper this time.
Sometimes it gets a little bit darker, but I think there's just more meek to it,
you know.
It's a lot fatter.
It's a lot heavier.
And, uh, [G#m] yeah.
It's really about [F#] what's been going on
my life and where my head's [D#m] at.
And I think that's a big deal.
[D#] I can't
say the first Chicken Foot record was that.
There's parts of it that were deep
like that, but this whole record is [F#] like that.
Every song is
like that, you know.
[C#] The music is
[D#m] more developed.
[C#] Everybody's sound
is more developed.
There's more Mike [D#m] Anthony, more Sammy
Hagar, more [F#] Chad Smith, [D#] more me on the record.
And whereas,
[D#m] and I think that has to [C#] do with the fact that we did it here.
This place had the
vibe.
It was our clubhouse.
[D#m] It was our safe
house in a way.
And where all four of us, plus Mick, plus
Carter, could come [D#] and really, without [F#] any fear of
retribution, [D#m] you know, let any idea fly and join [F#] up
and argue and do whatever we [D#] wanted to do.
And I think that really
helped out.
[A#] I think Joe exposed the musical side of himself [D#m] that
he wouldn't have did on the first record.
I think he was a little bit nervous about
[F#] pulling out a dobro and a banjo.
[D#] Oh, [D#m] a banjo?
Okay Joe, [C#] sure.
You know, it's just, it's such an [G#] honest record.
[C#]
