[E] That's what you [Am] do to me is such an energetic [E] feel and vibe.
To me [Am] it really
represents how we approach this record.
We had the benefit [E] of having a couple
years now of touring non-stop all around the world.
[Am] We've been very fortunate to
be able to sustain that through the energy of In Time.
So [C] at this point we're
a band that's really rehearsed and really snap it on that level that just
for us too it's it's been an experience.
[Am] When it came time to record this
particular track [E] we were really much very much very much [Gm] in the element.
We
were in [E] that zone [Am] and so there was an energy to it on top of the fact of it
being a very sexy very [E] very deliberate you know message you know it's just [Am] to
me it also when I think about the album title [E] Mono and all the songs that
are in it it makes me really take a [Am] step back from my own experience
involved inside of it because I realized what an art it is [E] to be able to find I
mean there are so many things going on on that track between the instruments
that [Am] to record a record like we did with Mono I learned through my first
experience now with this is that everything has to [E] find its sonic space
to be able to fit into [G] one [E] channel.
So [Am] it was very much and I guess I what I
want to do to is give Nico Bolas credit [F#] very much so for he [E] just knows how to do
that and there's not a lot of people out there [Am] that really capture what the
essence of that is let alone capture the essence of a band in its prime and I
think that track to me on the [E] record most represents that feeling of what it's
like to be at a live show with Mavericks and so [Am] that's my favorite [G#] track on the
record I think now but it's always changing [Am] because I love it also
