Okay, I'm going to be doing a tutorial for the saltwater room.
It is one of my most viewed videos and I have a lot of questions about how to play different
parts of it and I actually worked a lot of it out by ear.
But since you all have a lot of questions I'm going to teach you how to play it.
First thing you need to do.
Capo, fifth fret.
Okay, now you start out with, you play the eighth fret on the A string, then the seventh
fret on the D, [A] then open fret G, [C] which is held down by the capo,
[Bb] and then the eighth
fret on the [G] B.
[D] And you do it in this pattern.
And
[F]
[C] then the last [N] time when you do it, when you're going back down, [E] you play the B open.
[F] So, it goes A, [A] D, [C] G, [Am] D, [C] G, and [A] then lift your third finger up, holding down the B string,
and play it open.
[E] Like [F] this.
Second part, it switches to, you play the eighth fret on the D, I mean the E, [C] [Gb] and then
the seventh fret on the A, and then [D] open [G] on the D, and then [D] seven on the G.
[C]
So, you play E, A, B, [G] G, [Em] A, D, and then open B again.
[C]
[E] [N]
From that part, you play, [Eb]
well what I played, I played seven on the G, [D]
then [C] open, and then
nine on the [B] D, and then [G] open.
So, what that [Ab] section should sound like would [C] be,
[A] I'll play it with the song so you can
see how it goes.
[F]
[Em] [C]
[A] [Am]
[C]
[F] Okay, the next section that I played, I played a C, [C] and then a G, and then a [G] D.
[F] [G]
[F] Okay, what that sounds like in the song.
[C]
[G] [F]
[C] [Am] Okay.
And [G]
[F] then, [C]
back [Am] to that part.
Okay, the next section I played was, I think it was the chorus, which is right here.
I played an F, that little [Bb] F thing, [F] and then a C, [C] and G.
[B] [Bb]
[F]
[C]
[F] And then back again.
[D] [F] [C]
[F]
[Am] Okay, the last section is what I get the most questions about, specifically by a guy named
MGS Rocks1, which is why I even started to do this tutorial.
It's the ending section that goes,
[A] [G]
and I'll break that down.
You play 12 [Gb] on the A, [Am] 10 on the D, alternate those twice, 12, 10, 12, 10.
[F] Slide the 10 to 14 on the D, [Am] [C] and [G] back.
[Am]
[C] Do that twice, and then you play 10 on the A, [C] 10 on the D, and then [B] 9 on the D, [Abm] 10 on the [C] D.
[A] And then play the 10 on the A and 10 on the D again.
[C] [Ab] And then you play 10 on the [C] D, 9 [B] on the D, [A] 12 on the A, and 10 [G] on the A.
So that part should [C] go.
[G] Altogether, [Am] it should be,
[A]
I believe that's the last section.
I'll play it with the song, so it'll be all up to [C] speed and all that stuff.
[F]
[Am] And [C]
[Am]
[C]
[A] [Am] that's it.
It is one of my most viewed videos and I have a lot of questions about how to play different

[B] [Bb]
[F]

[D] [F] [C]

[F] Slide the 10 to 14 on the D, [Am] [C] and [G] back.
[Am]
[C] Do that twice, and then you play 10 on the A, [C] 10 on the D, and then [B] 9 on the D, [Abm] 10 on the [C] D.
[A] And then play the 10 on the A and 10 on the D again.
[C] [Ab] And then you play 10 on the [C] D, 9 [B] on the D, [A] 12 on the A, and 10 [G] on the A.
So that part should [C] go.
[G] Altogether, [Am] it should be,
