gonna be like or [Am] what I was gonna [F]
do here [C] really how well I was gonna do [Am] at
writing songs it just the process of writing [C] a song and recording it and
performing it all in the same week [Am] just crazy [F] sounding [C] so it almost sounds
impossible [Am] my name is Anna [C] Johnson and I am writing a song at the real-life
real [F] music songwriting experience I guess [C] the writing process I guess [G] would
look different for anybody so [Am] it's really you know [F] cool and interesting to
find that [C] out for myself like what will it look like for me to write a song and
just to experiment with the different styles and ways you can do that the
mentor that's been working with me is Shelly and she's [C] been amazing [G]
I probably
could not have gotten [F] this done without her today [C] I finished my song finished
writing it and tomorrow [G] we'll be going to the studio [Am] to record it [F] just [C] _

_ _ _ in this
[D] setting it's a lot different [F] because you know they're [C] so focused on how you [Am] sound
and you know the mic picks up every little detail and so you just you feel
like this pressure to just sound like the [Dm] best you can be [Am] but at the same time
it was just so cool and fun to experience yeah that's always one of my
favorite [F] parts about going [C] to camps like this is just meeting [Am] people who
have the same interests [Dm] as you [Am] and so we're really trying to take advantage of
this time to just get to know each other and learn more about other people who
are interested in the same things you are because I'm so new to this I've
never shared my words [B] through music before so you're like what are people
gonna think of my style and the words I have to say like all these thoughts are
going through your head like what if it's gonna be [F] so cheesy and it's [C] not
what I expected at all but [Am] this camp they really just [F] encourage you in your
[C] songwriting and just tell you like no it's good you just have to you just have
to be [A] confident in [Am] yourself and other people will just love it and so I
definitely think this camp has increased [F] just confidence in my abilities [C] not
[Am] everybody gets to experience this I'm very grateful that you know this camp
just allows you to go and do things that not everybody gets to do and really
allows you to experience what being a [F] songwriter is like
