Hi everybody.
Welcome.
I am Ted Yoder and tonight we are out in my little office because, well, quite frankly
the house is a mess.
So, and my dulcimer is out here and it's warmer today.
It's actually, well I think it hit 19 degrees.
Downright balmy.
So tonight's song I'm doing for you goes out as a personal request to an acquaintance of
mine or a fan of mine, however you want to say it.
Her name is Ingrid.
She lives over in the UK and she wrote me the other day and said that her brother had
recently passed away.
I'm not sure when.
It was in 2007 I believe.
And The Sound of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel was his favorite song.
And so she was collecting versions of that song in honor of her brother.
So this goes out to Ingrid.
And besides that I was reading the lyrics and it's like, it's a really, really cool
song for today.
So, anyway, here you go.

Thanks everybody.
Hope you liked it.
Hope you're having a great 2017.
It's good to say this is the first video since Christmas, right?
Since the holidays?
Yeah, you did a New [Ab] Year's Eve.
Oh yeah, I did a New Year's Eve.
Anyway, Ingrid I hope you enjoyed it.
Everybody else I hope you did too.
Mr.
Stratton [B] also enjoyed it.
Oh, did he?
He's been waiting for that one for a while.
You probably asked me to do that a while ago, didn't you Dan?
Anyway.
Also, we had someone from Trinidad join us tonight.
Oh, cool.
I don't know anybody from [N] Trinidad.
Awesome.
Alright, thanks.
Do you want to answer one more question?
Somebody asked how long you've been playing.
How long have I been playing?
I have had a dulcimer for 20 years, but I don't consider that I've been actually playing
it for 20 years.
So I think I consider myself about a 10 year player.
Cool.
Thanks everybody.
Have a great week.
God bless.
We'll see you later.
