[N] Welcome to Rob's Squad Reactions with your boy Jay and your girl Amber.
We're back today with another reaction video suggested to us by you guys
Amazing RSR family
We got a group today that we fell in love with
Early on in the channel because they had a really cool sound that we've done so many songs by them
But good tell me we got guys are listening to the who I really really like this band
And the song you guys suggested this time is behind blue eyes see the first time I was on the channel by myself
I did Baba O'Reilly and I wasn't really sure about it, but to me
That was one of those songs once I heard a second time
That's kind of when it really clicked for me
So I'm happy to be getting the more the who songs into our catalog
But if you are new to the channel hit that subscribe button
[E] Let's check out the who behind blue eyes.
Let's get it
[Em] No one knows what [G] it's like
To be [D] the fat man
To [G] be the sad [C] man
[G]
[A] Behind blue eyes
[Em] No one knows what [G] it's like Be [D] hated
To [G] be faded
To [A] telling only lies
but [C] my
[D] Dreams they [G] aren't as empty as my [C]
conscience [D] seems
[E]
[A] [E] [Bm]
[C] to be
My
[D] vengeance
That's never [A] free
It's [G#] real quick just the strumming and earlier
I sound like plucking at that acoustic guitar and with how forward his vocals are on this song
It's it's it's powerful like the setting of it.
Yeah for sure like the acoustic guitar
Really set the tone up well for what he's talking about you
You kind of feel like you're just listening to somebody who hasn't
spoke out in a long time about how they've been really feeling because you know
He's talking about this internal struggle that he's feeling like behind his eyes
Yeah, and you feel like this is somebody who's speaking and it's like, okay wait
I just need to pause and I just I just need to listen cuz it really feels like he's pouring his soul out to you
You put it next to the acoustic guitar kind of a moment exactly you put it with that acoustic and that is his hits
Yeah for [A] sure
[Em] No one knows what it's [G] like to feel [D] these feelings
Like I [C] do
And I blame [A] you
No [Em] one bites back as hard [G] on [D] their anger
None [C] of my fever can [A] show through
But [C] my
[D] dreams
They [G] aren't as empty as [C] my conscience
[D] seems [E] to be
[A] [E] I [Bm] have hours only [C] lonely
My love is [D] vengeance that's [A] never free
[E] When [Bm]
[A] [E] [Bm]
[E] my [Bm] fist clenches
[A] [E] crack it open
before [D] I use [G] it
lose [D] my cool
when [Bm] I [A] smile
tell [D] me some bad news
before I [Bm] [A] laugh
and act [E] like a fool
[Bm]
[E] And [F#] if I [A] swallow
[E] and it be evil
[Bm] put your [Gm] finger [D] down my throat
and if I [Bm] [A] shiver
please give [D] me a blanket
keep me warm
[A] let me wear [E] you cold
[D] [E]
[F#] [A] [B]
[E] [Gm] [D] [B]
[F#m] [D] [B]
[A] [G] [D] [B]
[Em] no one knows what [G] it's like to feel
I think this is really cool that transition
yeah cuz for a while we got
you know kind of that lonely sound
you know there wasn't much behind it besides his voice
and the guitar
for them to ramp up
you hear the drums killer
and you just see them kind of rock for a minute
it was cool and then we're slowing back down
to that kind of like
thought provoking sound
in one line that really stuck out to me
he was saying no my dreams aren't as
empty as my conscience
yeah so I mean that line
stuck didn't it?
it really did let's get back
[D] to the song
to be [G] the sad man
[A] behind the blue line
[N]
definitely
guys that's not what I was
expecting from the who
but it had a very
like pretty much sounded
it had a very kind of deep meaning to it
he was going through that depression
no it was definitely someone just expressing himself
this internal struggle
of like versus what we see
versus what we feel
yeah and I think that's something that a lot of people
also can relate to but it was just
really cool how they portrayed it
and you know kind of gave it to us in that song
the thought provoking moments
kind of quiet just acoustic
just really listening to him pour his heart out
those parts made the segments
really emotional yeah and then when they
really ramped it up and you kind of got this kind
of rocking almost hectic
sound solid sound
it was really really cool to
also remember like the who rocks
but they also have this like
really cool deep side to it as well
it was a really cool deep and like
I said very beginning it was so soft
and it was nice just leaving it
that acoustic guitar and then
that transition in the middle where he was kind of like
you know hey this is what it is kind of
giving it to you his voice changed in that too
because it was really somber I would say
much more somber at the beginning and then when
it ramped up you heard just a little bit
more growl and kind of like and I'm here
I like that who I like
that song that that's going up towards
my top just because you know that
acoustic guitar the gentle the rock
them back to that again but
guys thank you so so much for that suggestion
again it's been a quiet a little bit
since we've got to the who and we try to get
back to these artists but there's just so many
out there and so many suggestions but
for today that's gonna be the end of our reaction
video as we always send you out of here
we love you we thank you we appreciate you
remember every day that you wake up is a blessing
and that you are blessed and for your new
[Fm] family members to hit the subscribe button
we welcome you guys be all of a goal just like
we do tell them that goal mom guys
that goal is to make
somebody smile love y'all and we'll
see y'all later
