[Bb] [F]
[Ab] We probably define the music that we make [D] as a [G] combination [F] of a whole bunch of different influences.
Sort of under the folk umbrella, [Ab] but bringing in [F]
touches of country and, well, obviously
[Bb] folk traditional music, [F] jazz, pop, and just, you know, throwing a whole bunch of different
things [D] in the mix.
So it does, we are a folk act, but we are not one specific genre to the exclusion of others.
The thing we're known for is our three part harmony.
That's kind of the thing that brings it all together.
And people, I think, come to UC in here.
Yeah, I think we all grew up singing [Ab] in harmony, whether it was with [Fm] our siblings or singing
harmony to the [D] radio.
It was just a part of all of our lives.
[Ab] So it's a pretty natural feeling thing [Fm] for us.
[Ab] And it worked out well.
[Ab] We've had a lot of luck with this [Fm] band, with just the ranges [E] working well and the blend
[Fm] working well.
We've always had a really good blend.
I'm the soprano of the [Ab] group and Nikki's the mezzo and Heather is the alto.
It just sort of happened that way, that our ranges complemented each other.
[G] There are actually a lot of female [E] trios in [F] North America now.
So it's not as rare of a thing as [Ab] it used to be.
I mean, I'm not sure about over here.
It sounds like it's a more male-dominated [F] area.
We were actually, I think, one of the first [E] trios in Canada in our genre.
But there have been a lot more of them.
[F] So women are really getting [Bb] in there.
[E] The people, the audiences are amazing.
I've never [Ab]
come across audiences [Eb] like this.
They [E] are so [Fm] appreciative and attentive and [Ab] just soak up the music and [D] so responsive with their clapping.
We've never seen [Abm] this anywhere else in the world.
That's pretty special.
So you feel really loved and appreciated as [Gb] you're performing when you get [Ab] that kind of response.
That's not to say that doesn't exist in other places in the world, but it's [Bb] just kind of
a unique way of responding to the music that [Abm] they have here.
And of course, Juno [D] is especially fabulous for the Danish.
We really, we [Ab]
cannot [Bb] even express how amazing they are.
[E] We've each had probably at least 10 since we've [F] been here since yesterday.
Really?
They're so delicious.
If you try the Danish in North America, it's like you would spit your first bite out. [Ab] They're horrible.
They're hard and stale.
Horrible.
And just shortening.
Terrible.
These are like hard.
The most delicious.
It just kind of melts in your mouth.
Like not too sweet.
Oh my god, they're so good.

The custard is just delicious. So delicious.
And the beer is so yummy.
