Anyway, the song is called I Wonder and the guy that used to sing it is Chris Isaac.

listened to it and said, [Ab] hey, could you do a lesson on how to play that song?
It's a fairly straightforward song.
There's four chords in it, [G] _ _ so we're going to look at how it's [Ab] set up.
_ Alright, [B] as always, Kroak Telecaster, Dr.
Z Carbon [Ab] Gia amp. _ _
That's the gear.
The [C] first chord in this song is going to be a C chord, _ standard C. _
_ Then we'll go to an [F] F chord. _ _
_ _ [C] _ _ And [G] then we'll go to a G chord.
You can go regular G or you can do a G by simply moving your F chord all the way up
to the third fret.
_ And then [C] back to G. _ _
When we get to the chorus, the [B] chorus will start with an [Am] A minor _ and _ _ _ _ [A] _ _ _
then we'll progress
[G] from there to a G and back [C] to a C.

Mostly it's a range and key issue.
I just can't sing that song in the key of G.
I would have to use a capo of some kind.
