Of course _ everybody _ _ want to see Thunder Mother because it's only girls.
So you think that's the thing.
You go to see four girls playing rock and roll, okay, and after one song you're like
it [D#] _
_ doesn't matter if it's boy or girl.
Or girls, they play fucking great.
_ That's fantastic.
That's so cool.

My name is [G] Søren Andersen.
I am the producer of the forthcoming Thunder Mother album and I am also the co-writer
of six of these songs.
We are in Copenhagen at Metalist Studios.

It's been a great journey so far because they all, four of them are really good players.
_ _ It's the first time I work with Thunder Mothers and it's the first time you work with a band
and you always go, I hope they can play.
_ And they can.
All four of them are really, really good musicians.
_ _ A vocalist on top of her game, she delivered like _ never before on this album.
Pretty much every day I think we are celebrating her voice, _ [A] which is unique in my opinion.

_ _ [G] _ _ _ [C] There _
[G] _ will be a lot of
_ really energetic riffy things because Filippa is a riff, you know, she's a riff guitar player.
That raw 70s riff kind of player.
That's what she [A] is. _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _ _
[F#m] _ This is the first [G] album where my son is on bass.
_ _ Tight, _ tight is my word for her.
She's tight and groovy and _ she has a very tasteful way of playing because she has like
a bluesy 70s background so she kind of just flows out of it.

Emily, you know, just a lately educated musician.
_ _ _ Very talented.
She's, again, she knows her stuff but she's much more than just a drummer.
She has an idea of backing vocals and she even wrote the string scores for the ballad called Sleep.
_ [G] _ Yeah, I can give it a go.
She showed up the next day, scored out like, _ okay.
You know, that was pretty, I think everybody was impressed with that. _ _ _

[D] _ [G] I _ _ [D#] _ think that Thunder Mother, they can take it _ to the max.
[A] _ Obvious, the Dog From Hell is a huge song.
_ _ [C] _ _ _
[A#] _ _ [C] _ _ _ Loud [F] is the dog from hell.
[C] _ _ _
If I said no, I won't [F] treat you [C] _
well.
Low is [A#] the [F] dog, the [A#] dog [C] from hell.
_ _ [D#] Through the month.
_ _ _ Turned out to be a powerful, _ really badass _ [G] _
metal, hard rock, Motörhead tribute song.
Full on.
Great [D] hooks.
Great, great [Gm] verses. _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [G] Got a very free tattoo, but it's time for the move. _ _ _
_ _ _ Got fucked up on the metal cruise, no more illusions.
_ [Gm] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [C] With all the work and what we do, now things start to muddle.
Coming [Gm] down. _ _ _ _
[G] Now, into the mud, [Gm] into the mud, [C] into the mud.
[G] Get in the bed, into the mud, into the mud.
[C#] Purple Sky is a really [C#m] cool song.
I'm grown up in a town, so safe and [F#] sound.
[B] Judging people that chose a [C#m] different route.
_ _ Now I am one of them.
Who I _ believe, to be [Bm] free to be who I needed [C#] to be.
_ She said, what you gonna do?
Life is tough [B] and people will hurt you.
_ [A] You're no victim, [F#] _ [C#m] no more.
She _ _ said, what [C#] you gonna do?
Life is tough [B] and people will hurt you.
[A] You're a god of my [F#] war, you're [C#m] my survivor.
_ [D#] _ _ [A] My ride [F#] or die.
_ [A] I'll [F#] take you high.
_ [A]
Through purple [B] sky, [C#] you and I. _ _
_ [A] _ My ride [F#] or die.
[C] _
They are ready, and I think they know.
[Gm] I have a feeling that they actually are aware of it.
And that's great, that's fantastic.
