I don't know if they contacted me about Todd Rungren.
I think I contacted [B] them about Todd Rungren because he was desperately in need of new guitars.
And we [Ebm] basically got both Jeffs to come to a show and bring a bunch of guitars and basically [A] set them up in Todd's dressing room and let him go at it.
[Eb] It isn't a [G] result of a quest.
It's a happy accident, you might say.
[Ebm] First of all, the Spyder guitar is what we've been using acoustically.
[Bb] Far superior instrument to what we had been using.
Stays in tune.
Also great sound.
One of the things I discovered about the Babbage guitar as opposed to some of the others that I've used is that it doesn't seem to feed back as much as [N] some other technologies.
And [B] so for me, I like to have the guitar really loud.
The [Abm] Spyder in general is a plug and play situation.
I [N] don't have to do a lot of EQing.
[Eb] The high end is there, the low end is there.
I work at getting a nice acoustic sound.
Well, everybody's interested in the sort of Spyder bridge thing here.
[N] What affects things.
I think it looks cool.
So, as I say, I'm [E] trying to distract people from my guitar playing in any way possible.
Most of the [Db] guitar just belongs to the many tools I use to affect that.
