Chords for Tom Hamilton (Aerosmith) Gear run

Hi there, Aiden Mullin here on tour with Aerosmith 2012 global warming tour
I look after [Fm] Tom Hamilton who is the nicest [N] guy in show business the bass player in the band and
I have been asked to share with my TC friends a [F] little bit about what we have going on today
[N] _ I am a TC fan from way back when [F] ever since I had my first 2290 back at about 1988 and
I have always relied on their gear whenever I can with any of the artists that I work for
Because it [G] is basically in my opinion the best [F] sounding most reliable [C] stuff
_ [F] I don't have much going on here with the exception of the G major 2
and [D] my ever popular stereo chorus pedal
probably the best sounding chorus pedal on the market bar none and _
the chorusing is a big part of _
Sweet emotion sound and I am trying to emulate a sound that I only recently found out was doubled with a bass marimba and
_ _ Then beat myself up over it for a couple of years, but I think we found something that sounds really really close _
I
have worked for other artists in the past and I I've found that the G major 2 is
By far the most versatile multi effect processor
For not only for bass but for guitar there's a lot of neat functions that go unmentioned and
One of my favorite in there is the programmable gate which can be set
_ [C] According to each preset so you can have as little or as much as you need and it is a good
Musical [F] sweet sounding gate and I don't think that that particular piece gets enough press on that particular effect
But that's a that's an important part of what I do here
_ But again, you know the TC folks have always been there for me and I [G] try to be there for them
Great sound and stuff and we could talk about some of the bases.
We have a number of different [F] things going on _

This is a this is the base the G&L a set that was used in the legendary child video
And it's dressed up like a machine gun
Ammo box, so we call it the ammo box
Great sounding bass guitar.

They are very well rounded

[C#] I do a little bit of customization on the electronics
there are some switches that are inside the body [D] cavity that
perform different functions split coil preamp on
Preamp boost and cut we find the sweet spot on the switches and then I put them inside the cavity
Plug the holes so that way he can't bang him when he's playing.
I have a lovely little Duesenberg hollow body bass here
we _ [G#] string this with flat wound strings and
This thing sounds as close to an upright basically as you can get.
It's kind of got a Hoffner vibe to it, but probably
_ Certainly a better sound _
_ [A] very nice plunky bass and then we have our
_ Sadowsky's Roger Sadowski makes one of the best basses in the business [F] my five string here.
_ [A] I've just finished [F] stringing
_ _ Lovely sounding instrument very very well rounded.
So this is my four string Sadowski
It's kind of a play on a Fender Tele a little bit, but this has been the main bass for quite a while
For _ you know three or four songs in the set right now
using the G&L's primarily
_ _ another Roger Sadowski model and
last but not least
Very unique sounding bass here _ _ made up in Canada the folks from F bass
It's a beautiful piece of machinery and I would have to say probably the best sounding _

_ Just has a texture that that nothing else does
