Hi everyone, how you doing?
It's Joe here again.
And yeah, I know it's been a long long time since I've had any videos out
But I'm back and hope to get some more songs out to you real soon.
Okay for begin
just want to say thanks for all the comments and
subscriptions nice to hear from all of you and
Once again, thanks for the support
Okay, so they're gonna look at two of us from the let it be album nice easy song to play open [G] chords open strumming
So not too difficult and we won't spend too too much time on it
Okay, so let me run through it first and then
Parts of it and then we'll break it down
[Ab] [E]
[G]
[C]
[Am] [G]
[C] [Am]
[G] [D]
[G] [D]
[C] [G] [C] [G]
[Bb] [Dm]
[Bb] [Am]
Okay, [D]
[G]
that's pretty much the whole song those are all the chords and
Let's take a look at it.
So first we'll start off with the intro
And what we'll do here is we'll put our middle finger and ring finger on the seventh fret of the
G string and the E string.
Okay, so
Now you can either lift up this ring [Gb] finger and play the E string open
[Em] [E]
Like that [C] or you can put your first finger down on the fifth fret of the B string and just keep it there
[D] and it's the same note so
[G] Like [E]
that [N] I kind of like this way better because it allows you to keep that
B string ringing as you hit the other [G] string, so
Anyway, [E]
[N] you choose to do this really really [G] fine.
And then you go into the song the first verse starting on G chord
You go to a [C] C chord and
Then you lift up the finger lift up the your fingers and press the second fret of the B string and kind of [Eb] play this
[G] like C over B [B] and
You go to an A minor with a minor seventh with a pinky down on the third fret of the [Am] E string
Okay, so let's see what that sounds like remember the strumming is just pretty easy and open except when you get to the a minor
Seventh chord and then I'll show you what to [G] do.
So
What are the words here
Two of us right in nowhere, standing somewhere [C] far [Am] away
Okay,
[G] so two of us right in nowhere, standing somewhere [C]
[G] far [Am] away
That a minor chord you can just [B] you know, the strumming changes a little bit
So the G and the C are [Ab] all pretty much just up and [G] down.
So
[C]
[Gbm] [Am] Here you go
[G]
Two of us right in nowhere, standing somewhere [C] far [Am] away
You
[G] and me someday driving, I'm not arriving, [C] on [Am] our way [G] back home
[D] You go to the D [G] there so
[D] [C] and then C and back [G] to G
Now [D] [C] [G]
[D] [G]
you go to [C] the C
and [G]
back to G [F] [G] so
[Am] On our way [G] back home
[D] [G]
[D] [C] [G]
[C] [G]
That's pretty much it for the verses and then you kind of build up into that middle section so
Then you go to a B [B] flat here on six frets.
There's [Bb] the barre chord
You and I
[C] And then you go to [Dm] a D minor chord
And I like to actually hit the A string there
[G] Because I hear Paul [Em] playing an A bass [Dm] note on that
Someone playing an A bass
[C] [Bb]
Then [Dm]
a G minor [Bb] 7
Looks like that.
It's [Fm] like a G minor just lift up the pinky [Gm] third fret
Then [G] you go to the A minor
[Am]
[D]
[G] Hit
So I play the A [Am] minor
And then near the end of it.
I just add the pinky down for the A minor 7
Hit [D]
the D chord to end the phrase so
[G] You
[Bb] and I [Dm] have memories
[Gm] Longer than the [Am]
road that stretches out ahead
[D] [G] You and me someday driving, not arriving
[C]
[Am]
Okay, I know I'm screwing up all the lyrics, but that's pretty much it
[Ab] This song just ends
With this lick again from the beginning
You [E]
[G] just go to the G chord and just kind of fade out
[F] That's why I tend to whistling
[N] That's about it
Not too difficult to play just you know keep this drumming even and keep practicing this drumming and listen to the record and play along
Everything should be fine
Okay, so nice to see all of you again, and hope to see you real real soon and until next time
It's Joe here again.

Now [D] [C] [G]
[D] [G]
you go to [C] the C
and [G]
back to G [F] [G] so
[Am] On our way [G] back home
[D] [G]
[D] [C] [G]
[C] [G]

Okay, so _
Now _ _ _ you can either lift up this ring [Gb] finger and play the E string open

_ _ You _ _ _ go to a [C] C chord _ _ and
Then you lift up the finger lift up the your fingers and press the second fret of the B string and kind of [Eb] play this
[G] like C over B _ _ [B] and
You go to an A minor with a minor seventh with a pinky down on the third fret of the [Am] E string
_ _ _ _ Okay, so let's see what that sounds like remember the strumming is just pretty easy and open except when you get to the a minor

So _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [C] _ _ _ _
_ [Gbm] [Am] Here you go _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _
Two of us right in nowhere, standing somewhere [C] far _ _ [Am] away
_ You _ _ _ _ _
_ [G] and me someday _ driving, I'm not arriving, [C] _ on [Am] our way _ _ [G] back home _
[D] _ _ You go to the D [G] there so _ _ _
[D] _ _ _ [C] and then C and back [G] to G
Now _ [D] _ _ [C] _ [G] _
_ _ _ [D] _ _ [G] _ _ _
_ you go to [C] the C
_ and [G]
back to G _ [F] [G] so _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [Am] On our way _ [G] back home
[D] _ _ [G] _
_ _ _ _ [D] _ _ [C] _ [G] _
_ _ _ [C] _ [G] _ _ _ _
That's _ _ _ _ pretty much it for the verses and then you kind of build up into that middle section so
_ Then _ _ _ _ you go to a B [B] flat here on six frets.
There's [Bb] the barre chord
_ _ _ _ _ You and I
[C] And then you go to [Dm] a D minor chord _
_ _ _ And I like to actually hit the A string there

[Am] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [D] _ _ _ _
[G] Hit
So I play the A [Am] minor
_ _ And then near the end of it.
I just add the pinky down for the A minor 7
_ Hit _ _ [D] _ _ _ _ _
the D chord to end the phrase _ so
[G] _ You _ _ _ _ _
_ [Bb] _ and I [Dm] have _ memories
[Gm] _ Longer than the [Am]
road that stretches out ahead _
[D] _ _ _ _ [G] You and me someday driving, not arriving
[C] _
_ _ _ [Am] _ _ _ _ _
_ Okay, I know I'm screwing up all the lyrics, but that's pretty much it
_ _ [Ab] This song just ends _ _
With this lick again from the beginning
You [E] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [G] _ _ _ _ just go to the G chord and just kind of fade _ out _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
